500 Mcg = To How Many Mg

What is 500 mcg in ml?

Micrograms (mcg) is a unit of mass and milliliter (ml) is a unit of volume and so they can't be converted directly. You would need the density (in grams/milliliter) of whatever substance you're looking at to make a conversion.

How many mg is 500mcg?

0.5mg

How many mg are in 5000 mcg?

A microgram (µg or mcg) is a unit of mass equal to one millionth (1/1,000,000) of a gram (1 × 10−6), or 1/1000 of a milligram.Therefore 5000 mcg = 5 milligrams. (5000 X 1/1000 = 5)

The dose of a drug is 500mcg/kg?

ok first off there are 2.2 pounds in a kilo.

55/2.2 = 25 kilos

500 x 25 (because it states 500mcg per kilo) =12,500mcg

Take decimal point three places to the left for 12.5 mg, and three more for .0125 gm

If this is more than just a school assignment, then please contact a doctor or pharmacy before giving whatever this is. Many medications need to be adjusted further where children are concerned.

I have a question about drug dosages- gm, mg and mcg question?

I am taking 2 meds that were the following: 1) One was 0.5GR (30MG) and the other was 1GR(60MG)... I am now told to stop these 2 and take a new one that is 0.150MG (150MCG).... My question since the 2 meds were 1.5 GR total or 90MG, is the second the same dosage??? THANKS!
