A Question For T Mobile Customers; Is T Mobile Good And How Satisfied Are You With Their Service

Which is the best phone carrier, AT&T or T-Mobile?

Keeping in mind I’ve been an at&t employee since 2006. It’s like asking your favorite car manufacturer who their favorite car maker is!Since I was asked here’s my input :When I first started in the industry text messaging was a new technology AT&T was a leader in that. In fact it’s been my experience that AT&T has been leading the charge with technology when you comes to smart phone options and cell phone tower technology. “Back in the day at&t was well known as the carrier with the “fewest drop calls” utilizing there GSM 3G technology ( The same technology that used in 99% of the world ).10 years ago when Apple introduced the very first iPhone  Apple iPhone AT&T was is the exclusive carrier for over three years - that alone says a lot about the company.Nationwide Coverage: I don’t believe anyone is better than us - this has been confirmed via interactions over the years with independent Tower engineers traversing the country for cell tower coverage.at&t was the first company to offer rollover minutes rollover data and true unlimited data plans .Since At&t purchase DIRECTV several years ago they offer additional discounts for DIRECTV (on selected unlimited plans ) and DIRECTV has been number one customer satisfaction over cable 17 years in a row. This is just the tip of the iceberg - I can easily share the added benefits as an employee (we are union) and someone who appreciates with AT&T does for our veterans.

Which of the 4 offered iPhone X models (carriers - AT&T / T-Mobile US / Sprint / Verizon) do I have to buy in the USA to make sure it works well in Germany as well?

All iPhone X phones will work in Germany. However if you go to Germany and you have a US carrier then you will most likely have to pay roaming fees. I recommend purchasing from T-Mobile because it's easier to swap out Sim cards without having to contact your service provider to internationally unlock your phone. Additionally whatever phone provider you go with, make sure you check out who has better international roaming rates. Whatever you do, stay away from sprint. In my experience AT&T and Verizon has higher rates. With T-Mobile, you pay a higher upfront cost for the phone but its better in terms of long term costs to provide service for your phone. Also, if you aren't satisfied with their service, there's no cancelation fee. Hope this helps and I'd be happy to address any additional questions that you may have to the best of my ability. Cheers!

How satisfied are you with T-Mobile? I am contemplating switching carriers from Verizon. How does the service work in Honolulu or North Shore, Hawaii?

Deeply unsatisfied.I switched from ATT to T-Mobile, sucked in by the unlimited music streaming. We have 5 lines and the data costs from streaming music were killing me; even with a corporate discount. Most places in town have decent coverage. I live/work/visit family/dine/shop in Kahala, Kaimuki, St. Louis Heights, around UH Manoa, Ala Moana, and am satisfied in those areas. Kaka’ako has good coverage, Chinatown has okay coverage. However, the signal is just generally weaker almost everywhere, and I experience dropouts all the time in other areas I frequent. Diamond Head (ocean side) is a big no-coverage zone: no calls, no data. For some reason, I get no service inside most of Nordstrom Rack and other stores in the Ward area. Other random areas where I used to have very strong, reliable service, are weak and spotty.Coverage on the North Shore is a nightmare. I had ATT when I worked in Haleiwa and it wasn’t perfect, but it was worlds better than T-Mobile. Communication is hit or miss (90% MISS) once I pass Haleiwa. Very, very bad at the skate park. It’s super frustrating, especially when you’re trying to meet up with people, which is all the time.Lastly, sometimes I will mysteriously miss calls when my phone is in my hand, and sometimes voicemails don’t show up right away. I once had a week’s worth of voice mails show up all at once. In other words, I didn’t receive any voice mail for a week (which is not super unusual), then one day FOUR voice mails showed up, the oldest one being from a week before (embarrassingly, two were from the same person).I’m going to switch back to ATT or Verizon after I do some research. I’m super bummed that I lost the corporate discount I had on my old line (I hadn’t worked for the company for years, but they never removed the discount). It’s going to increase my phone bill by more than $100 more per month, which sucks… but in this case, you really do get what you pay for.p.s. We have 4 iPhones and one Galaxy on our account, and we all have similar issues.

Is simple mobile good?

Simple Mobile is good if you are going to use it in the coverage area...check the coverage map to determine if you would have service. Simple uses the T-mobile network so if your friends and relatives and other people you know have t-mobile or simple mobile and are satisfied chances are you will be too. hope this helps

I am sick of dropped calls and poor reception and service. What is the best cell phone company to go with?

it depends on where you live - coverage varies

ask around among the locals

Can I use my T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S II on AT&T?

Hey Cara, This is a very important question to ask. If we are not getting good service or quality of service from a carrier, we need to consider our options with the next best carrier. AT&T is the best option for you as your phone, being a T-Mobile branded phone, is a GSM phone and therefore will only work on T-Mobile or AT&T networks, it will not work on Sprint or Verizon. If you are phone is unlocked you will able to use it on AT&T, no problemo! It is just the simple task of popping an AT&T sim into the sim slot and boom! You will have service. However if it is a locked phone it will not be as simple as that I am afraid, Grrr! :( But it's an easy process to get it unlocked! If you're a pay monthly customer and you want to unlock your device:Your phone needs to be a T-mobile phone, which it is.Your phone must not be reported as lost, stolen or blocked to T-Mobile.Your account associated with the device must be in good standing. You have requested no more than 2 mobile device unlock codes per line of service in the last 12 months. The phone must satisfy all the Postpaid or Prepaid Unlocking terms outlined below:The device must have been active on the T-Mobile network for at least 40 days on the requesting line.If the device was financed using T-Mobile’s Equipment Installment Plan (EIP), then all payments must be satisfied and the device must be paid in full.If the device is on an account that has are under a service contract term, then at least 18 consecutive monthly payments must have been made or the account was migrated to Simple Choice no contract rate plan.If the device is associated with a canceled account, then the account balance must be zero.T-Mobile may request proof of purchase or additional information in its discretion and certain other exceptions may apply. However, if your phone is a prepaid phone this is terms for eligibility: The device has been active on the T-Mobile network for more than 1 year.If the device has been active for less than 1 year, then the Prepaid account associated with the device must have had more than $25 in refills for basic phones or $100 in refills for smartphones or tablet since device first use date.T-Mobile may request proof of purchase or additional information in its discretion and certain other exceptions may apply.I hope my answer helped you today. However if you need any help or assistance please comment and I will try my best to help you. :)

I ordered a phone from tmobile?

annddd I got the wrong one i wanted and it already shipped what do i do? lol
Can i call them and cancel and get the one i want??
or when i get it i can refund it back without paying anything??

My T-Mobile online account has been disabled for 2 months due to possible fraud events and I've called customer support 4 times. What can I do?

Call them with a recorder or recorder apl being present. Terri then up front that the conversation is being recorded and will be used for civil litigation of your ongoing probation isn't resolved to your satisfaction. Then pieces to have them go through every step possible to restore your service. No idea why it's taken you two months to have it resolved, but most people couldn't be without their cell phones service for more than a day as many no longer have a landline. Where that you have a 2 point authentication process setup with them and get to the root of the problems. If you really can't get it resolved, then you have the recording that can be used to file a complaint with the CPA, the FCC, your virus Attorney General's office, and even small claims court. I suspect someone closer knows enough about you that they can impersonate you and cause you all sorts of trouble with T-Mobile. All the best to you buddy.
