About My Weight Or Muscle

How can I know if the weight I gained is fat or muscle?

The simplest answer: Fat doesnt move things around, muscle does. If u pick a weight up then its the muscles that do the work. If u pick a weight up a lot n its hard then ur brain tells ur body that that muscle isnt powerful enough to do that job and sends a signal to have that muscle repaired n grow to be able to do the job. Thats muscle growth. Your body wont ever say “oh no we have to lift a lot of weight, lets get fatter.” Fat is only emergency energy stores. If u workout but eat 3 pizzas a day then ur gona get fat n its not the workout thats to blame.

Will weight increases if muscle increases?

Yes actually Because the The weight of muscle is greater than Weight of Fat And also One Pound of Muscle and One Pound of Fat Do not Look the SameSee both of Them are One Pound So Actually If you Gain Muscle then Your Weight will IncreaseBut,If you Gain Muscle and At the Same Time Lose Fat Then Some Times You dont See Considerable Change in Your Weight But You can See Change in the Shape of your body . Mostly People Who Workout Usually think of Body Fat Percentage Rather than their Weight .

Will muscle milk help me gain weight?

Firstly, you must realize that you are different from the people who use muscle milk and saw the weight gain. Most of them do not have a high metabolism rate like you and me and even if they do, chances of that helping you to gain weight is low. Let me elaborate. The things in muscle milk is whey protein powder which is found in egg whites and milk while the biggest contributor of calories come from sugar. This firstly means that you are actually paying for overpriced sugar. Secondly, a high sugar content will not help you to gain weight as it will spike your blood sugar up and let it dip down by a lot later, causing your body to burn more calories rather than limit it. What I suggest if you are looking to gain weight is to look into eating a high carbohydrate diet many times a day, sleep well and do the right exercise to help you get there. Even if you drink it at night, prolonged use will cause damage to your system like it did for me due to the high amount of sugar and protein in the mixture that your body will pass out in an attempt to prevent itself from being poisoned by too much nutrients.

A high carbohydrate diet in my personal experience is to eat 3/4 of your normal size meals but do it 6 times a day. Make sure that you have at least 50% of it coming from carbohydrates like potatoes, pasta, noodles, biscuits, rice and bread for all your meals. This will provide you with enough calories to help you to gain weight steadily despite your high metabolism rate.

However, diet is only one pillar you need to get right. You will also need to sleep well every night to prevent unnecessary calorie lost. What I suggest is that you look into turning in 30 minutes ahead of the time you usually do so that you can wake up slightly ahead of your alarm clock, thus ensuring that you get the maximum sleep your body needs without being abruptly interrupted by the alarm.

Lastly, you need to lift weights or do exercise that provides you with strength. It is a simple logic really. The more weight you can bear, the easier it is for your body to gain as it gets accustomed to the weight you need. This means you need to look into lifting heavy weights for a short period of time for your workout.

Is this overweight? How do u work out Muscle weight from fat weight?

There are several ways to determine how much of your body mass is fat and how much is lean. The most accurate measure is by hydrostatic weighing which involves emersion in water. Other methods include electric resistence, calipre measurements, and infra red light. You can find one or more of these tests at health clubs.

How often should I increase the amount of weight on my muscle to increase my body?

A2A.your question seems little bit ambiguous, i am considering you want to know how frequently you should increase the load on muscles.in order to make muscle grow the basics are progressive overload and SAID principle. progressive overload says simply every training should be challenging than the previous one,on the other hand SAID principle (Specific Adaption to Increasing Demands)says your muscle will respond according what kind of training you are providing to them.muscles grow by three basic ways : mechanical tension, mechanical damage, metabolic stress.now when you should increase the weight is very personalized approach/question.but in simple words let’s say you are finding you are easily able to performs sets which previously used to be a little bit difficult or you had to push . then you should move to next weight or rep scheme.

Can you gain muscle mass without putting on weight?

First things first…This to refute the stupidity so often bandied-about on fat vs. muscle density. Muscle is >75% water. Muscle density is 1.06 g/ml and fat density is (about) 0.9 g/ml. Thus, one liter of muscle would weight 1.06 kg and one liter of fat would weight 0.9 kg. In other words, muscle is about 18% denser than fat. If anyone says otherwise they are ignorant and anything else they may say is suspect.Secondly, yes you can gain muscle mass without gaining weight. It really is very easy. In the past 4 months, I have lost 15lbs. of bodyweight while gaining 7lbs. of lean weight mass (as measured using 9 site skinfold measurements). Which is a total fat loss of 22lbs.The key is to do it slowly, and to ensure that you are consuming enough protein as well as exercising strenuously on a weightlifting program. I average .5–1lb. of weight loss per week, while reducing my body fat by 1.5–2.0% per month. So far I’ve added 7lbs. of muscle, lost 22lbs. of fat, reduced by body fat level from 22% to 13%, and increased my lifts by 20–30% (and more) in the past 4 months…and I’m 62 years old (male). You need to consume .8+ grams of protein per lb. of lean body weight. You need to reduce your caloric intake by 500–700kcal. per day below your BMR. And you need to do strenuous weightlifting exercise at least 2x per week. This to reduce weight. If you only want to maintain your present weight it’s even easier, just keep your caloric intake approximately at your BMR. Don’t buy-into the garbage about increasing your caloric intake by 500+kcal. per day in order to gain muscle…you’ll only get fat. Unless your body fat is below 8% you already have plenty of fuel in your fat cells to allow building muscle. In fact, too high a body fat level actually inhibits testosterone production, and will reduce muscle gains.
