GERD or acid reflux and constant burping ?!?
I am a 30 year old female never smoked or drank alcohol...It started when I was about 14 years old...I would watch tv after a meal...and all of a sudden the content in my stomach comes up shooting in my mouth...At first I was shocked but then I put it down to,...my stomach hates when I eat too much...although my portions are fairly normal...So I am dealing with this constantly for 15 years. It doesnt matter what I eat, even if it is just a small size banana...it comes back shooting up my stomach..And for the past month I can't stop burping at night. It starts around 7 pm and lasts till the morning. Sometimes the burps get stuck in my cheast or throat and I start paniking...The only thing I feel is my stomach muscle right between my chest contracting and pushing my food up and air. Sometimes I run to the bathroom to spit it out sometimes I need to swollow it back down when I am around people....I don't know for what reason but I finally decided to do something about it ...So I read alot about cancer, which completely freaks me out now...I read about the barrium xray which I am totally scared of as I read some ppl die of this examination as the barrium travels to the lungs and causes shock...I am also scared of a tube down my throat and of the sedation..I know I need to see a doctor...but I cant handle these crazy examinations...what are the signs of cancer in the throat...And does anybody have the same symptoms as me ??? PS: THE FOOD COMES BACK UP WITHOUT STOMACH JUICE AND COMPLETELY UNDIGESTED !!!

I WENT TO THE DOCTOR LAST NIGHT AND FOUND OUT THE HEAVYNESS AND NECK STIFFNESS AND FAINT HEART PAPATATIONS WAS CAUSED BY SOMETHING CALL ACID REFLUX SOOOO WHAT CAN I DO TO EASE THE SYMPTOMS DOES DRINKING WATER HELPS??? AND DOES BURPING HELP??? CAN ANY BODY TELL ME
Is it alright to drink water before bed if you have acid reflux?
It should be ok. Try taking pepcid ac or tums. It always helps to keep your head elevated at a 45 degree angle for 30 min after u eat or drink. Stay away from sodas.
I get heartburn and acid reflux from eating cucumbers. Why does my fiance not believe me?
Everytime I eat cucumbers (with or without the peel) I get heartburn and/or acid reflux. My fiance insists that I am crazy and that I just don't want to eat them. How can I convince her that I am not crazy?
How can I get rid of acid reflux?
All day today I have really bad acid reflux. I took two rolaids and its not working and I also drank a few glasses of water. What else can I do? The acid is getting so bad I could throw up. And should I try eating blander foods? I've been having diarrhea for a few days now and stomach pains, and chest pains that radiate into my shoulder (gall bladder). And none of this should be happening to me, I'm only 16. :(

acid reflux? Make sure you're getting enough probiotics, zinc, and vitamin B12. (these help against your symptoms). You can get your zinc and B12 levels checked up by the doctor/nurse. they will take a blood test to see if you lack either of them. Also, make sure you're drinking plenty of water (add freshly squeezed lemons in your water to alkalize your system). Acid reflux is due to a deficiency in probiotics/zinc/B12, but also a minor problem in the digestive system. Google which foods are alkalizing (for instance, lemons are great!) and get your PH level at a good level.
Why do I keep burping up stomach acid?
Everytime I eat and drink water for the last five days i keep burping up acid and/or grease.This happepened about a year ago for about 2 weeks. It does'nt matter what I eat just greasy foods are worse. I am a quadraplegic and I have no gall bladder.Sometimes its so bad It makes me almost pass out.Antacid helps,but why all the sudden is it reoccuring?i feel better after i burp and basicaly puke the acid out.It seems when i drink water the grease floats up and gives me pain,I can only feel to my **** so i dont really fel it bad till its to my chest?What is wrong with me.Smoking irratates it also.Please help.
