Could the writers of advice columns, such as Dear Abby, be sued for bad advice?
ugh we have Annie's Mailbox and sometimes she gives really bad advice. but seriously, how would the person doing the prank call know the person got advice from a column? what would they say when they got to the hospital with their blown ear drum? "i was prank calling someone and they blew a whistle in the phone and so here i am. also i would like to press charges, here's the number?" i don't see this playing out in favor of the people doing the prank calling, if it did then the people with charge being pressed against them would have to say i go the advice on this column.. but i think the police would just laugh at the guy in the hospital, so it wouldn't be likely to happen. but in this day and age, where a man can break into someone's home while they are on vacation and get locked in the garage on accident and has to live on dog food for however many days can win a suit against the folks whose home he broke into.. then yeah, anything is possible.

For school I am making a newspaper from the 1600-1700s, and am in charge of the advice column. I need some good websites that offer me details on what one in those days might need advice on, and how one would reply.
How much should I charge for in home daycare? (Michigan)?
I run and in home day care in Kentucky. I'm certified to keep 6 children and I have a Bachelor's degree in Family Studies. I hoping to open my own day care after my second daughter is born in August. I charge $135 until the child is 1. Then 1 and older I charge $110. I serve the children Breakfast, Lunch, and a afternoon snack. You can contact your CCC and they can offer reimbursement for you feeding the children as long as you follow their guidelines. I don't charge for early drop off just because it does not happen very often. I charge $2.00 for every five minutes. I'm not sure about using the time stamp. I do have clipboard so the parents can sign the child in and out and that does help keep track of the time the child is here. But if someone is paying you a full time rate than their child can be there as long as it between 7:30-5:30 as many hours a day. Also, I found that if you have a contract written up and it's signed by your parents and you and they are aware of things up front than there is no questions asked. Because you will always have this to fall back on. I have been doing in home for three years and I ran two head start programs.My parents do pay when their child is sick or they call off their pay will always be the same it will never change unless. I have it written in my contract that I get six sick/personal days a year. Then after that I will take the days without pay.
