Advice On A Foot Tattoo

Can I play soccer with a foot tattoo?

Ive had my foot tattoo for a week and 3 days now. It is starting to peel and my friends told me just to put the AD cream on it then wrap it but I wanted more peoples advice. and okay people i was just asking if i could put stuff on my tattoo yet... not asking if a ref would not let me play cause of my tattoo. But thank you to the people who actually answered my question.

Foot Tattoo Advice for a tattoo virgin?

dont do it on your foot. hahaha. i also got my first tattoo is a really painful spot and almost fainted lol. try somewhere less painful or just hope you have a high pain tolerance, i myself dont have the balls to ever get tattooed on my foot and i have my hand tattooed. I have a low pain tolerance and will never tattoo my feet or ribs. a few of my friends started feet tattoos but never finished them because they hurt so bad.

Advice on a tattoo around the leg/ankle/foot area...?

I'm booked to get a new tattoo in next couple of weeks. It's going to start at the lower part of the calf, just above the ankle, working it's way down to the top of the foot. I'd really appreciate some advice on healing. I didn't follow advice with my first tattoo when I was younger, and now all these years later regret it, so I'm trying to get it right this time!

I digress, my query (albeit a bit of a dense one): If I were to drive home from the studio, would the movement of using the pedals effect the tattoo? I'd be driving for about an hour straight after walking out of there. Movement in general is worrying me, I've booked a week off work just so I don't run around annoying it... (Any excuse for a holiday though, eh?)

As I said, help would be great. Googleing "can I drive after a tattoo?" is yielding strange and unhelpful results.

Thanks,
Hannah

Foot tattoo pain/advice?

About taking ibuprofen, it's actually a good idea because it'll help the inflammation and some of the discomfort. It's not good idea to take anything that'll thin your blood out though, so as for your other medication, I'm not sure about that. Research it first, and if u can't find anything on it, then dnt take it. better safe than sorry. As for your foot tattoo....if you can get a side piece and sit through that, then you will do just fine with your foot. It's a sensitive area, but personally, I think the side hurts WAY worse! Lol, As for healing, any time I have evr gotten a tattoo, my tattoo artist has always said to put as little on it as I can handle. I've been told to use fragrance free lotion, such as lubriderm, when it starts to get really cracked and peeling and itchy. ANd then to always rub it in really good so there's no residue left. I've seen people keep their tattoos too wet with lotions or ointments and then what happens is they take longer to heal, the pigment falls out, or they have huge thick scabs. Yuck. Just let your body heal as naturally as possible. I have never had any problems this way. I would say I have about 40% of my body tattooed.

Well, congrats on your soon to be new addition! I hope this has helped a little. Good luck to you that day and have fun with it!

Tattoo on bottom of foot?

I want to get a tattoo on the bottom of my foot. I am not looking for your opinion, so save it.

What I am looking for is someone that has done it too. I want to know how long it lasts, how many touch ups are required, what the cost was, any other advice, etc. Be detailed, please.

And again, if you're just looking to hate on me for wanting something you think is stupid, grow the hell up and go pack to playing with Webkidz or whatever.

My foot tattoo keeps fading?

I got this big sunflower tattooed on my foot in September of 2016 I believe. I ve had it touched up twice now and it still fades so bad. I take care of it like a baby with aquaphor and I try not to wear shoes that will rub it. Anyone have any advice?

Best advice to hide foot tattoo when wearing a skirt?

I would like to start wearing skirts to work, but I have a medium sized tattoo of flowers on the top of my foot...about 2x2 inches...that i cannot have showing.

What is the best tip OR product that I can use to cover it up about 2 times a week? I wear nylons and in the past I used a small section of an ACE bandage wrap but it got loose by the end of the day.

I am not looking for something to toally camoflague...meaning, I dont mind putting a bandaid over it for the day. I am ust looking for some other advice from people who have had to temporarly cover up their tattos for the day.

ps...i do not regret my tattoo, i love it. I could easily not wear a skirt, but I would like to try something new.

Back of the neck vs Foot tattoo?

Alright ya'll, most of you didn't read very well. I HAVE a tattoo on my foot already. I'm debating whether or not to get it on the back of my neck, or behind the ear. It's going to be a little dove (goes with my other tattoos on my back.) that's very feminine. Thanks for the help ya'll

Aftercare for foot tattoo

I just got a foot tattoo a day and a half ago, and it is beautiful. It is a snake; it's head is on my foot and it wraps around my ankle. I want to take good care of it, of course!

Anyone with a foot and/or ankle tattoo who has advice? I am keeping it moist of course and I will not be wearing anything but flip flops for two weeks - I am not touching/scratching it at all, and I am avoiding the sun.

However I am concerned about things such as showering. A little bit of the tattoo on my ankle already faded a tiny little bit (which I was expecting) and I just don't want it all to get much worse than that. Should I wash the tattoo with water, and if so: how? Should I stick my leg out of the shower when showering and washing my hair for the best result?

Also: in bed, is it safest to wrap something around my tattoo while sleeping, as I don't want to rub any ink off in my sleep?
