Affidavit Of Support Form

Affidavit of Support?

I'm afraid David is right, there is not going back after divorce. Help the immigrant become a citizen so you can be released.Call 1-800-375-5283 or go online to find a better choice.

The next have been taken from the I-864 instructions:
How Long Does My Obligation as a Sponsor Continue?
"Your obligation to support the immigrant(s) you are sponsoring in this affidavit of support will continue until the sponsored immigrant becomes a U.S. citizen, or can be credited with 40 qualifying quarters of work in the United States. Although 40 qualifying quarters of work (credits) generally equate to ten years of work, in certain cases the work of a spouse or parent adds qualifying quarters. The Social Security Administration can provide information on how to count qualifying quarters (credits) of work."

"In addition to their own work, intending immigrants may be able to secure credit for work performed by a spouse during marriage and by their parent(s) while the immigrants were under 18 years of age. The Social Security Administration (SSA) can provide information on how to count quarters of work earned or credited and how to provide evidence of such. See the SSA website at www.ssa.gov/mystatement/credits for more information"

"The obligation also ends if you or the sponsored immigrant dies or if the sponsored immigrant ceases to be a lawful permanent resident and departs the United States. Divorce does not end the sponsorship obligation"
Good luck!

Who needs to fill the I-134 form?

Is there an affidavit of support form for Canada?

You need to be more specific. Where do you live? Because each province/territory has its own laws and the affidavit forms are slightly different. Here are some examples, I sincerely hope you can use one of them.

What is the risk of co signing a I-864 Affidavit of Support?

You are signing an agreement with the US government that YOU are going to be responsible for his support. Since your sister doesn't make enough money to even support herself, do you really want to be on the hook to support this man perhaps forever? Can you afford to pay his medical expenses if he is hospitalized? Can you afford to support him if he becomes disabled and cannot work? If he gets any government assistance, you get to pay it all back. Even if they divorce you are still liable. Could be the end of your own financial stability for a very long time.
Apparently he is an illegal alien who has already disrespected our country by thumbing his nose at our laws.

Affidavit of support: income requirements???

i need to give an affidavit of support for my husband. i dont work and my dad is my co-sponser right now. my husband works in a company called eli lilly in asia. its branch is also located in united states. so he has a chance of working in the same company when he arrives in usa. i read this info on the uscis website

Income from the intending immigrant, if that income will continue from the same source after immigration, and if the intending immigrant is currently living in your residence. If the intending immigrant is your spouse, his or her income can be counted regardless of current residence, but it must continue from the same source after he or she becomes a lawful permanent resident.

my question is that does this info means that i can show on the affidavit of support form that my husband will be working at the same company located in usa after arriving here??????? plzzz help i need to know this asap

What is a notarized affidavit?

The whole world of Judicial as well as non Judicial corruption starts with this very concept of a notarised document on a non judicial stamp paper or a Gazetted Officer’s signature on a piece of any application..Gazetted Officers mostly sign such papers without even knowing the person for whom his signature is being taken He chages a fee for his noble act. From a Peon to PM all know about this noble act of the Gazetted Officer. This I was told Modi Govt has done away with but on ground this Dhandha is still thrieving.National Consumer Dispute Redressal Commission New Delhi has sent me a Notice pointing of Defects on my First Appeal against the order of my state commission. One of the observation is not sending a notarised Appeal. This point was raised in the State Commission but the self certified copy of the complaint from the complainant rep as Party in Person was admitted.I am not going to get my appeal notarised as i am the appellant rep my own case in the National Commission as the Party in Person. If you engage an Advocate he signs the document and is accepted by any court incl the consumer fora.Consumer fora can not have dual yardstick. These are meant to discourage the compellant to fight his own case but to surrender to some Advocate.Rule 9 of Consumer Protection Regulation 2005 states ..independent of whether defects noticed by the Registrar within the stipulated time period / or defects disputed by the Appellant , his case must be submitted before the hon’ble Commission. My case is due for admission hearing on 09 May and i am going there to argue my case for admission and an early devision.
