Where can you buy alternative press magazine?
You can buy AP at places such as 7-11, Chapters, Indigo, Coles, f.y.e, Macs, Petero-Canada, Sobeys, and Wal-Mart. Magazines similar to AP are Rock Sound (which is British, but avalible at Borders), and Kerrang! which isn't avalible in Canada unless you order it online :(
What are some magazines like Alternative Press but has posters?
I get my band posters from issues of Rock Sound. It's a British magazine (I discovered it living in England) but I've been buying it from my local Borders since I moved back to the US. They generally feature harder bands like Opeth, The Dillinger Escape Plan, Gallows, etc. but sometimes they have closer to what you're looking for, just check it out before you buy a copy. Borders also carries issues of Q and NME (both British also), but they feature more indie bands, so they may not be what you are looking for. Rock Sound would probably be your best bet out of those, and they usually come with free compilation CD's featuring their favorite artists of the month. I haven't tried Powell's yet, but I wouldn't be surprised if they carried issues too. As for American magazines, I haven't a clue. My favorite magazine for band posters is called Kerrang! and would almost definitely have what you're looking for, but I haven't been able to find it here in the US. That may be useless information, but if you can find somewhere that stocks it, I'm sure you'd love it. Hope that helps!

i got this of amazon explaining why it takes a few weeks. Once you've placed an order, it takes one to two weeks for your subscription to be received and scheduled by the publisher. Your subscription is then added to the publisher's next production cycle and shipped via standard mail.
