Am I Stressing To Much Or What

How can I stop women from causing me so much stress?

Anne and Stephen seem to have it right and two things. What do your female family members tell you, specifically? (By the way it might not, and one reason you relate differently to family and other females might be that you you’re gay but haven’t realized that!)Take a few hours to write a very long description of everything about women you think is causing you stress… 500 words at least; preferably a lot more. Leave that to stew for at least 48 hours then check whether you left anything out. Leave it again, then come back and re-write it, changing only the grammar.Wherever you had written ‘she’ or ‘they’ change that to ‘I’ and make no other changes except to match the rest of the wording… ‘They are never consistent with themselves…’ should then become ‘I am never consistent with myself…’ Then ‘… they don’t seem to (anything)’ should become ‘… I don’t seem to…’Leave it another 48 hours at least and then re-read it at least three times making no notes or even comments. If that hasn’t helped at all, or enough, find someone you trust to read it to.

Why do I stress out so much over everything?

Have you ever thought you might have anxiety? It can be really exhausting to feel worried all the time. Good things and bad things will happen in the future, and sometimes it can help to stay focused on the present. When you feel yourself becoming overwhelmed, try practicing some deep breathing exercises. There are lots of instructions for these online, and they can really help calm down your body and mind. You might also try making a list of the things you are worried about and then examining what things in that list are within your control. For the things that are in your control, take small steps to lessen your anxiety. For the things you can't control, do your best to let them go. If you try some of these things and your worrying doesn't improve, think about visiting your doctor to talk about your symptoms. You can also call the Boys Town National Hotline at 1-800-448-3000, 24/7, if you would like to talk more about this. Take care... MG, counselor

How can I stop getting stressed or worried?

Worry is a form of fear. When brain creates fear by imagining possible negative outcomes from the future, we call it worry. Our brains create fear when it’s trying to protect ‘you’ and anything you consider yourself. So, we can try to decrease the number of things that the brain has to protect. It might sound complicated. For example, when someone’s afraid of speaking in public, the brain might be trying to protect your image as ‘someone who’s not nervous’ in front of others. Or being afraid of ‘being afraid’ and trying to protect yourself from fear, resulting in a destructive cycle of worry every time your brain generates fear. Also, having over protective parents who take care of all your problems can wire your brain into believing that you’re incapable of handling problems yourself. Similarly, consistent negative remarks from people you trust while growing up might hurt your confidence and result in the same. Both of these factors can make your brain want to escape from responsibilities and can cause anxiety when having to face them.Fear/worry is wired into us through evolution to help protect ourselves by predicting possible dangers. There’s no reason to view it as an enemy. Your brain is most probably trying to protect more than just your ‘body’ including things like your ‘self-image’ and image in front of others and whatever identity you might have taken on. If you can sort them out, you’d have solved half the problem. Also, take some time out to identify other possible causes. It will suck the mystery out of this problem and give you the confidence to work on developing a sustainable solution.Good Luck!

I have soo much homework that i'm crying and so stressed out?

Well I am in independent study so I get work every Tuesday that I have to work on throughout the week and bring it back on Tuesday again and so on, my stupid self left ALL of my work for LAST minute and it's almost 6:00 PM and I still have piles of homework that I have to do, all due tomorrow at 10:00 A.M. I honestly don't know what to do. I highly doubt that i'm going to be able to finish, btw I am in 8th grade (15 years old) All this work in such a short time is just too much for me to handle! :( This is my homework:
FIVE chapters in my health textbook, including 3 or 4 section reviews in each chapter (9 or 10 questions each) and all the chapter reviews at the end of the chapters (30 or 35 questions)
And then I have to do 2 activities about the book The Catcher in The Rye, those are kind of easy though
and then 2 chapters in my physical fitness textbook, which is pretty easy too considering they are just circle answers and only like 1 real question, and only one on each chapter.
The thing that i'm sooooooo stressed about and crying about is my health homework!! It is just TOO MUCH!! But the thing is that i'm SO behind on health and that's why I have to do so many chapters because I was hospitalized for like 3 weeks and missed so much work so now I have to do all of this! Usually just two chapters and thats it but now its 5 chapters! and I only have 2 weeks left of school and still need to finish TEN chapters to complete the course! :( So I have to do 5 each week. I am crying so much I have only finished 1 and a half and it's already almost 6 PM. Please help what do I do my hands are tired and everything already :(

My job causes me too much stress and anger. Should I quit it?

If you have been with your job for 5 years and you feel unappreciated, stressed out, angry, malnourished, sleep deprived AND your pay is not good...what is there to hold on for? Who wins by you staying and being angry? What positive is there in "enduring all this a little more"?
If you can start looking for a new job (and get one as easily as you've stated), then you are not necessarily starting from scratch. You end your current job one day and start your new job another day. You might have to go to the bottom of the seniority line at a new job but isn't that easier to handle than what you've described at your current job? I say look for a new job and once you are able to land it - let your new job you have to give a 2 weeks notice and then once that 2 weeks notice is given and you are done - you walk into a new job that hopefully will give you satisfaction for a job well done and doesn't push your anger buttons.

On a side note - even the joke of shooting people at your work is not funny. Especially with all the recent events of people walking into places shooting. As someone already said - it is considered a criminal activity to even talk about it regardless of intent to follow through. However, you should not shoot yourself either. The best thing you can do in this situation is to leave it behind and find a new job you are appreciated in and find more satisfaction with. Best of luck on your new job search!
