Android Os Which Android Phone Manager Is The Best

Should i root my android phone?

The bad things about rooting an Android phone are that you have to be careful, or you could seriuosly mess up your phone. And you will also void your warranty if your phone's rooted; and if you need repairs or replacement, almost no shop will cover these if your phones rooted. But, if you save all your phones original info before you root, and put it back that way, there is almost no way aybody could tell it was ever rooted. The good things are that you could over-clock your phone, which makes it allot faster and perform better. You have several operating systems you could add to your phone; which also makes it perform better, and makes it look cool. There are also apps that you could get only on rooted phones. Go to this website: http://androidforums.com They have step-by-step instructions on how to root almost every phone, and can answer questions. Just remember that if you choose to root, please save your info before.

Android device manager not working?

If you go to Settings > Security > Device administrators, is "Android Device Manager" present and checked? If so, I can't think of why it isn't working, unless you're just not getting a GPS fix from wherever you are.

Also check under Settings > Location access and make sure "Access to my location" is ON and that both "GPS satellites" and "Wi-Fi & mobile network location" are checked as well.

Note that I'm using a Samsung Galaxy Nexus, which runs "pure Android," so your settings menus might be named slightly differently.

Let us know if the settings are as I described and, if so, I'll try to think of something else. :-)
