Answer. Nose Piercing Questions

Nose piercing questions? please answer.?

1) Since you have a low tolerance to pain it might hurt you a bit. For me it was totally a 2 he put the needle in and of course it hurt a bit but I was shocked cause he has it in and was talking to me about it in less the 2 minutes. My boyfriend when we got out was like you didn't even flinch! Just make sure you eat something before going in cause if you don't you may pass out.

2) It does get a little gross if you have a screw which I do but I just get a q-tip and just clean it up and its all fine. It's totally not hard to blow your nose tho. I was just way sick and worried about that to but it was fine.

3) That chick need to take care of her nose. I have had mine for about 3 weeks and for like the first few days you have that but after that if your taking care of it you shouldn't have that.

4) Depending on your state you may have to have a signature. Just call the place up and they will tell you.

5) It looks great on everyone! =)

Nose Piercing Questions?

1. It solely depends on your pain tolerance, i can promise you that this piercing only takes seconds so the pain will only be temporary. Just remember to breathe evenly and deeply and have your piercer coach you through the piercing procedure if you're nervous, they should be very happy to help you in anyway.

2. Don't worry about the jewelry, your piercer will have this figured out for you. If you have an allergy to nickel, tell them and they'll use a titanium nose screw (cork screw) and you should be fine, if that doesn't work, you can always try glass or bioplast.

3. A runny nose shouldn't cause any troubles, however the bacteria and chlorine in pools, the bacteria in lakes, oceans, rivers and other bodies of water can be very damaging to a healing piercing and will increase your chances of infection. If you plan on swimming with a healing piercing, you must cover it up with a waterproof bandage, remove the bandage after swimming and clean it with home-made saline for 5-10 minutes to draw out any bacteria that my have gotten into the piercing.

4. Yes, with your face wash be careful to not put any around the piercing site as that could damage it and please avoid putting make-up around the piercing site as that is very dirty, will clog pores, and increase your chances of infection.

5. If you get a well-fitting nose screw, i doubt it will be ripped out (or even fall out). If you're worried, i suggest you put a bandage over the piercing when you sleep and you should be safe.

6. It will be sore/tender for the first couple of days (or weeks, depending on how long it takes for your body to adjust to the piercing), just make sure you're careful, don't snag the jewelry and you should be fine.

This is just random, but here's an aftercare brochure i highly recommend you read and go over several times: http://www.safepiercing.org/piercing/body-aftercare/

I wish you the best of luck!

Nose piercing question?

I had my nose pierced in April for about 3 weeks, but I had to take it out for work, lost the stud, and my piercing closed. I found out that I can wear one of the clear nose studs to work, so I wanted to get it re-pierced. However, I only have about one week before I ll have to change it to the clear stud. I talked to a piercer that said that changing my stud before 6-8 weeks was at my discretion, but I was wondering if anyone else has changed theirs sooner than that and if it s a bad idea.

Nose Piercing Question!?

Of course it hurts! But not terribly. It makes your eyes sting and water though. I'd say it's worse than ears, just because of that.
If you're not proud of your nose, don't get it pierced. It does attract more attention. People comment on mine all the time.
I think there are fake piercing thingys, but you can probably just get one of those sparkly bindi things and stick it on your nose.

Nose Piercing Question?

Misha: that came about from 25 years or so ago, when some gay men wore an earring in their right ear to show that they were single. It might have meaning in some cultures, but for the most part the Western world has gotten past that. See the following text, which was found on the glossary at http://www.bmezine.com/ (I'm posting the glossary entry in its entirety because I can't link directly to it):

"Gay:
"No, it doesn't matter which ear/nipple/eyebrow
"In the past, your choice of ear to pierce may have had a meaning related to your sexual orientation. A pierced right ear (without the left one pierced) indicated that you were gay -- however, this has definitely become a thing of the past. (Unless of course you live in bigotville).

"So... Get whatever ear you want pierced. It doesn't make any difference. And which side nipple, eyebrow, etc. has NEVER meant anything. Seriously, if you're so immature that you're more concerned about what people might assume about you, you're probably not mature enough for piercing anyway -- And, there are far worse things that people will assume about you because of your piercings than an assumption about your sexuality.

"In addition, tattoing -- outside of the obvious like the word 'GAY' tattooed on your shoulder -- has no hidden sexual meanings. It doesn't matter which arm you get an armband tattooed on."

Get whatever side you like pierced. Of course...

For AET: nose piercings on both sides have no meaning, but I think that looks HOT!

Nose piercing question?

If you're worried about it, just put vitamin E on the piercing area so the wound heals easier. You can even use cocoa butter on it because cocoa butter helps avoid scarring. Both vitamin E cream and cocoa butter can be found at drug stores and grocery stores. It's not a guarantee that you'll get a scar, but there's a possibility. Everyone is different. If your question is asking whether you'd see the hole if you took the piercing out for an hour, than yes. It's that way with all piercings! If you want to take it out for a bit if you're going somewhere where you don't want it to show put a clear plastic stud in, it's way less noticeable!

Lip & Nose piercing questions?

I've pierced my lip before, but took it out because i (stupidly) used alcohol swabs to clean it, and it was always sore. Next chance i get i'm gonna re-pierce the left side again, then the right, then the middle. Someone with experience; any difference in pain between the labret and side of the lip?

Nose: Anyone know who Wayne Static is? Well i want 2 rings on the left side of my nose like he has. Never done any piercings besides my lip, so would love an idea of what to expect.

Nose piercing question..helppppp?

ok i want to get a little diamond stud on the left side of my nose but i have a few questions. the first one is can i get it done if i do not have a little dent in the side of my nose when i smile? my friend has hers done and she said that when you smile u should have a little dent on either side of ur nostril and if u dont have it then they cant do it...is that true? second can it be pierced with a little diamond stud or does it have to be a big one/ a ring? third...i need as much detail as possible about what exactly it feels like..i dont care if u tell me that it was the most painful thing in the world..i just want to know what to expect..i have a fairly low tolerance for pain yet have 2 tattoos, 4 earrings per ear and bellybutton pierced :)

p.s please dont lecture me about infection, that its ugly/stupid/trampy etc etc...im going to a very sanitary and nice place, i like the way they look and if i wanted to know what ur personal views on piecings were then i would have asked :)

Embarrasing nose piercing question?

I have had my nose pierced since March and since its kinda been allergy season here I've had a running/stuffy nose and have been getting boogers forming around my nose screw. Is there anyway to get them out and to prevent them forming. This has been making my piercing kinda uncomfortable cause it makes the screw feel bigger than it is and plus when I decide to get a new screw I'm afraid they won't be able to get it out cause of the build up on the screw.
