Any Good Shampoo And Conditioner That Makes Hair More Volume And Soft

What shampoo/conditioner should I use?

Most of the shampoos and conditioners available will not damage your hair. There is one type of ingredient that you want to avoid - Sodium Laureth Sulfate, or Sodium Laurel Sulfate. You may find that some products are now advertising that they are SLS free. That’s a good thing. To keep your hair healthy, try to shampoo every other day. It’s okay to rinse your hair and apply a bit of conditioner on the days you don’t shampoo. But shampoo does strip your hair of it’s natural protective oils, so shampooing every 2nd or 3rd day will give you the healthiest hair. You can also damage your hair in other ways. Hair products that have alot of alcohol in them are not good. Always read the label of anything you buy = that’s good advice for anything, and the ingredients (at least in North America) are listed in order of percentages. So the first ingredients are the most important to read. Also heat from a hair-dryer can damage your hair. Keep the setting on low, or stop drying before your hair is completely dry.Don’t brush your hair when it’s wet. Use a wide-tooth comb instead to keep the hair from stretching and breaking.Scalp massages with essential oil blends help keep the hair healthy, as well as nourishing oil treatments and conditioners that you leave in for about 20 minutes, then wash away. You can also keep the “softness” in your hair by not using heavy gels and hairsprays to style it. Mousse or foam styling products help keep the final results softer.

Which is the best shampoo and conditioner to get silky and shiny hair with less chemicals?

Hello Sowmya,Apologies for being a tad late in giving the reply. The very same question was tossed up by the Quora team to me and it is the opportune time to answer this question.Because you are specific about picking up a shampoo and conditioner without chemical contents, you need to look forward to herbal/natural options.Talking about a natural shampoo to obtain silky smooth hair, I would recommend you the St Botanica hair shampoo and the subsequent conditioner from the same brand.Check- StBotanica Biotin & Collagen Volumizing Hair ShampooConditioner- StBotanica Moroccan Argan Hair ConditionerBoth these products are free from SLS, Paraben and other chemical additives and thus produce no harm to your hair. These consist of various natural oils and vitamin B7 in order to volumize and add shine to your hairs. What shampoo/conditioner do you use? And reccomendations?

I have two recommendations for you.

This first one is an organic shampoo and conditioner. Most shampoos have parabens and sulfates ( preservatives and chemicals that may cause cancers, etc). But since my daughter and I share shampoos, I have switched over to this organic brand. Its Fabulous and I have peace of mind that my daughter and I aren't using shampoo products that are carcinogenic and could potentially cause developmental issues in children and adults.

1. I have long, elbow, dark-brown hair, a little thick and a bit wavy.
2. Giovanni Organic Shampoo and Conditioner - The line is called "Smooth as Silk".
3.It works fantastic... I'm very pleased with this product. I tried all kinds of organic shampoos, but most dried-out my long hair. This one leaves my long hair silky, shiny and smooth and smells like citrus. I really don't care about the smell as long as it doesn't dry out my hair and makes it shiny.

My other recommendation is an expensive one, but I was hooked on it for about 2 years. Once I became pregnant and had a baby, I stopped using it because I switched to all organic products for good health reasons for my whole family.

1.Again, my hair long- dark, elbow length, a little wavy and a little thick
2.Kerastase: Oleo Relax shampoo and conditioner ( orange containers)
3.Glossy, super shiny hair and smells like flowers.
