Why does everyone hate Jpop?

Japanese are really bad at singing and are against autotune for some reason. And Japanese culture is only adored by people who are escaping reality through unhealthy anime obsession. Also, people typically like to know what a song is saying. With pop music, it isn't like the lyrics have to say anything important, but they at least have to be in English for your average person to like it.

How much different is the training of Japanese idols compared to k-idols?

I am not sure if you are asking about JPOP Idols or Japanese idols in the KPOP industry, but I’ll try to answer it the best that I can. When Produce 48, a survivial show including members of Japanese group HKT48 and korean trainees from multiple entertainment companies was still airing, it was clearly shown how much less the japanese idols train pre-debut.Picture 1: Produce 48 traineesThere were korean trainees, who already trained for 4+ years but haven’t debuted yet, still the HKT members had only couple months of training before debuting in a group.Picture 2: HKT48Also the training is not as intense, as they don’t focus on dancing and singing that much, in japanese industry the main focus is on the entertaining, as the girls have said themselves, you have to be a good entertainer first and then a singer and a dancer.Dances are really simplified, especially for the girl groups and not every group dance. After debuting, the most important thing for the group is to have a catchy song and promote themselves well and get enough spotlight, after that they can continue working on their groups and gaining their success.Picture 3:Hey!Say!Jump!Also this is not really about training, but in jpop groups (such as already mentioned hkt48 and generations of the exile tribe) idols often “graduate” or leave the group on good terms and are often replaced, fans are used to this and use this period to send off their favorites without causing too much fuss, unlike in kpop( exo , suju and many other groups) where fans treat leaving as betrayal and mean, and where idols leave mainly because of poor treatment, health issues and solo activities.Picture 4: The Rampage from Exile tribeKorean idols train much harder, you can train up to 10+ years and still the debut won’t be guaranteed and that’s just how it is.The dance moves can be really complicated and the focus is mainly on their talents and visuals.Picture 5: Bang Chan,Stray Kids’ leader, trained for eight years before debutingPicture 6: Suho, EXO’s leader, trained for six years before debutingAlso korean netizens tend to be more harder to please. With having this on mind, I want to tell you that no matter which genre you prefer, the other one is just as good.Jpop has that cheerfulness and weird outfits and kpop has the awesome dance and amazing lyrics, so give them both a try.
