Oh, that CPU makes me cry… I feel so bad for you…The CPU I record with (Core i5 4690k) isn’t strong enough to live stream in many cases. I have to stick with 30 FPS, but even then, my 1080p quality with a high bitrate is too much for it to handle. Even with it’s odd habit of turbo boosting itself beyond the normal limit. Regardless, I lose anywhere from a couple dozen to a couple hundred frames every stream.While my CPU (4 core, 4 thread, base @3.5, turbo @3.9) may have similar specs to yours (4 core, 4 thread, base @3.2, turbo @3.4), they can behave quite differently. These differences can be exaggerated with the other parts you use (motherboard chipset, GPU architecture…)That’s the one problem I see. Though I don’t know what your budget would be for any sort of upgrades. To make any sort of significant upgrade, though, a new motherboard might be needed. And newer motherboards tend to not support DDR3 RAM anymore. So the price can stack up quite a bit. See what you can afford and check the specs.

My Elgato Game Capture HD for Xbox suddenly stopped recording game audio, only video. Is there a solution?
I've been using it for about 6 months now and it all of a sudden stopped recording the game audio in my gameplay videos. I'm worried that it's either broken or something changed in the settings (though I don't know how). Please if anyone knows of a possible solution, help me out. I upload YouTube gaming videos every week and would love to be able to continue. Here's a quick list of what I'm using... -Xbox 360 console -MAC laptop -Elgato Game Capture HD equipment -HDMI cable

well if you get 15 a week you would get 225 in 15 weeks excactly 105 days I suggest a HD PVR which is 200 dollars and can get at BestBuy I mean you can get a Dazzle For like 50 dollars but belive me you better off if you save for and HD PVR on the dazzle the highest quality is 480i thats the highest it records so that means you would have to play in 480i and that looks like crap(believe me I know I have one) so save yourself the trouble of getting crapy quality and save for The HD PVR which can record up to 1080i. But if you really cant get 200 dont let me stop you and go for the Dazzle. What is the best gaming capture card (2016) and why?
If you have a relatively recent Nvidia card (I use a GTX 750), then I’d highly reccomend using NVidia Shadowplay. It takes advantage of the card’s hardware to record games or your entire screen in amazing quality. Otherwise, I’d reccomend Fraps, which records OpenGL and DirectX based games (most games are) in great quality at respectable framerates.But lets say that you’re still desperate for a capture card for some reason. I personally have a Hauppauge HD PVR 2 Gaming Edition, and it works great for me. It does have some problems, though; Open Broadcast Software doesn’t play well with it, and there’s a 3–8 second delay in the video recording (although it takes this into account and adjusts your commentary’s timing accordingly, when using the official software). Although I’ve never used one before, I also know a few people who use Elgato capture cards, and I hear that they’re fantastic. If you’ve got them money, then you might wanna try them.
