Why would I be excited for a Zombie Apocalypse?
Im actually excited about it too. I dont think it makes you a bad person. The thing is, life now adays has gotten so normal that something like this would give us a purpose. We would have something new to deal with. It would allow the average person to become someone important.
Would a school be a good place to hide during a zombie apocalypse?
If there's a zombie apocalypse, you should never go there in the first place. Even if there's a low amount of people for a school, it's still enough to be too risky or dangerous. One of the best places to go would probably be a Bass Pro Shop with all the guns in there and supplies, or you could hide in a bomb shelter for only a day and the undead would easily decompose when they are exposed to the world of the living for about a day if they actively move around, which they will to eat brains or flesh. But if they turn out to not be decomposable, it would be good to hide in a bomb shelter with plenty of food and something to keep a lookout for. Bass Pro Shop is still a good choice, though there is the possibility of zombies inside and you would have to look for ammo before the zombies get to you. The worst place to go is a supermarket because of the high amount of people in them and the many crowds. Anywhere with a crowd of people is a bad place to try to survive at unless they help you and each other and have all the supplies needed. The best place during a global zombie apocalypse would be somewhere in an isolated part of nature. Probably in the Himalyas, the arctic, etc., but the worst places are the most urban places. In a zombie apocalypse, the most affected areas would probably be Japan, USA, China, Mexico, but least affected places would either have a low population or low population density, which includes Russia(because of density), Greenland(sparsely populated, but not Iceland if you were going to think that. Iceland has a smaller population, but it is a small country, so infection rates would still be high. I think I've explained too much now.

Robert Kirkman writes it as well as the comic, and has made changes that keep the spirit of the comic while still keeping it new for fans of the comic.
