Anyone On Here With Medical Knowledge

What does "Knowledge based approach" means?

I have heard or read this term in many places mostly in the form:
"XXX: A knowldge based approach" e.g. "A knowledge-based approach for retrieving scenario-specific medical text documents "A Knowledge Based Approach to Facilitate Enginering Design"

What does knowledge based approach means? What other approaches are there?

Someone please help! (medical)?

I need an expert here... I've been diagnosed with depression and bipolar ... I took settaline (one tab a day) then went to epilim (two tablets a day).. I slowly eased off the settaline because my mum thought it wasn't working.. so I eased off them while still taking epilim. I've recently heard that you should not take settaline with epilim and ever since I got off of the setraline I was, and have been very depressed. Not so much stress and anxiety but mainly depression state where you get many suicidal thoughts and I have recently attempted to kill myself. Getting off the tablets I started feeling weird and I don't know if it's because of quitting both of the medication or something else. I'm constantly tired, sad, I can barely open my eyes and I look high. I get many weird feelings such as "headspins" and constant headaches and dizziness. I need an expert! Please is this because I've stopped taking the tablets or am I Coming down with a life threatening disease.
