Anyone Selling A Nerf Elite Stockade In The Us

Nerf elite gun darts?

Nerf Elite blasters are primarily intended for use with "Elite Darts"--the ones with blue bodies and orange tips.

Some front-loading blasters--specifically, the Rough Cut, Firestrike, and Triad (as well as the Jolt, Reflex, and Barrel Break which are technically just repaints) can also use other darts, such as suction darts, whistler darts, and Dart Tag darts. The old streamlines won't work (or won't work well) on these blasters (because as you may know, the pegs inside the darts that keep the head attached are longer on the old streamlines, so the posts in the blasters' barrels can't go all the way in).

The clip-fed blasters can only use Elite Darts--other darts won't fit in the clips. Some of the flywheel blasters--the Elite Rayven, the Stryfe, the Hailfire, and probably the upcoming Rapidstrike--are also able to use regular streamlines (since they don't use dart posts in their firing mechanisms).

So, a quick guide:

CAN USE ALL TYPES OF DARTS (except old streamlines)
Rough Cut
Strongarm
Triad
Firestrike
Jolt
Barrel Break
Reflex
Elite Spectre (yet to be released in the US)

CAN USE ELITES AND OLD STREAMLINES
Elite Rayven
Stryfe
Hailfire
Rapidstrike (? - yet to be released in the US)

CAN ONLY USE ELITES
Elite Alpha Trooper
Rampage
Retaliator
Stockade (yet to be released in the US)

Is my Nerf Stockade broken?

Check if there's a dart jammed in the barrel that's preventing the cylinder from rotating. Also, make sure that the jam door at the top of the blaster is completely closed. IIRC the cylinder should rotate with a pull of the trigger.

If all else fails, hopefully you've kept the receipt--if you just bought it recently, you may be able to return/exchange it at the store.

Can anyone tell me when the nerf stockade is coming out in united states?

Nerf has just confirmed the existence and release of the Stockade for August 1st. However, it seems that the blaster will have an international release first and will not be in retail stores in the United States for a while. Here's their official announcement from their Facebook page:
Hey Nation, some of you may have heard about an addition to the N-Strike Elite line, the N-Strike Elite Stockade blaster. Well, the rumors are true, and the N-Strike Elite Stockade blaster will be seen on shelves in some areas of the world on 8.1. Members of Nerf Nation in the US will not see the Stockade blaster in stores….yet, but if you're lucky enough to get your hands on one, be sure to share info here. We always aim to bring you the best in new Nerf technology, so keep your eyes peeled for more blasters from the N-Strike Elite line in the future!

Which one should I get, nerf Stryfe or nerf Stockade?

You won't find the Stockade at K-Mart; it's a Wal-Mart exclusive.

Anyway, both blasters are N-Strike Elite flywheel blasters, which use two rotating wheels to launch the darts, like a baseball pitching machine. The Stryfe was new to the Nerf line; the Stockade, on the other hand is a remake of the non-Elite Barricade, with improved motors, a mechanism adjusted to shoot only Elite darts (the Barricade could shoot suction darts, sonic darts, and other large-headed darts), an a unique stock that hold extra darts.

The differences:
The Stryfe uses interchangeable magazines, it comes with only a six-dart magazine and six darts, but you can buy additional magazines that you can carry with you to keep yourself supplied with ammo, with reloading as simple as pushing a button to drop the used magazine and popping in a loaded one.

The Stockade is a ten-dart revolver. It comes with ten darts. The downside is that it's not as easy to reload as a Stryfe (assuming the Stryfe has additional mags).

The Stryfe uses a secondary trigger to start the flywheels. The Stockade uses a switch. Since flywheels are noisy, the Stryfe is more stealthy as you can power up the flywheels right as you shoot, as opposed to the Stockade, whose flywheels you'll want to keep constantly running in order to be ready to shoot at any time.

Either blaster is a good choice, but if I had to go with one, I'd go with the Stryfe, with its room for expansion.
