Are any of the members of Shinedown Christian?

I find nothing indicating any of the band members are Christian or not. But keep in mind, their home city of Jacksonville, FL, is strongly a part of the Bible Belt so I wouldn't be surprised to learn if band members are Christian. Many Christian rockers keep their faith private, as they should, so they can publicly concentrate on their music.

Shinedown have toured with the likes of Flyleaf but also KISS and Rob Zombie. They present a secular view in accepting the chance to appear with other rockers regardless of faith.

Is shinedown a christian rock band?

Shinedown is a hard rock band that originated in Jacksonville, Florida. The members are vocalist Brent Smith, guitarist Jasin Todd, bassist Brad Stewart, and drummer Barry Kerch. The group was formed in early 2001 and signed a contract with Atlantic Records in 2002. Their song "Save Me" was the theme song for WWE No Mercy 2005.

Is the band Shinedown a Christian Band?

As I doubt it would lower the quality of the music depending on what the singer's beliefs or writing appeal, but listening to their lyrics, they do not seem like a Christian metal band, but that could mean they don't preach, but there may be christian influences in the lyrics.

Also, becaue they may be listed in certain sections, dosen't mean they, Wikipedia especially always gets it wrong, with most metal bands, I one time seen a black metal band having Pop punk as one of their genres.

Other good Christian metal bands are;
Bloodgood
Creed
As I Lay Dying
Stryper

Does slipknot have any christian members in that band?

I don't think so, but there was rumors that Corey and Jim are Christian.

Is the band Breaking Benjamin Christian?

Not necessarily, but I understand why some people may think they are.For example, the ‘newer’ version of Skillet ( 2009-present) is NOT overly Christian. The songs are more about self-empowerment and finding one’s true worth. It’s NOT Christian in the sense Kutless, Seventh Day Slumber etc. are Christian. I mean, both the above mentioned two bands have albums in their catalogue entirely filled with lyrics about unconditional devotion to Father.Breaking Benjamin’s discography is primarily filled with songs from the perspective of a ‘broken’ person : person who is constantly trying to grow, evolve and connect with surrounding world. They aren’t explicitly take Jesus/Father’s name, nor the songs named “Anthem of The Angels” , “Ashes of Eden” literary deals with Christian figures.Also, there’s a point of cursing also. Swear words are a big no in Christian rock.TL;DR : BB can be loosely defined as a Christian band.

Is Dave Mustaine a Christian?

Dave Mustaine self-identifies as a Christian, as does the bassist in Megadeth, Dave Ellefson. Since Mustaine became a Christian, he has refused to play certain material from Megadeth's past, which made references to occultism and Satanism.A few years ago, there was some controversy when Megadeth was scheduled to play in a music festival in Greece, and a Satanic metal band was scheduled as one of the opening acts. Mustaine asked that Megadeth's appearance be moved, so that no Satanic bands would be on stage in the same show with them. The event organizers dropped the other band from the show instead, which wasn't Mustaine's intent. He's open about his beliefs, but doesn't try to force them on others, either as an individual or as the frontman of Megadeth.As a side note, he has made it clear that he is against any kind of violence or coercion in the name of any religion, not just his own. He wrote a song in 1990 called "Holy Wars" about the sectarian violence in Ireland, and it has been a staple of Megadeth shows ever since. He dedicated a performance of it to the people of Paris after the terrorist attacks there last fall.
