Are My Eyes Hazel Green Or A Different Color

Different pic: what color eyes do i have?

Hazel kinda green and brown really pretty.

Does wentworth miller really have two different eye color? green on the right eye and hazel on the left?

i have read some articles about him saying that he does, but he supposedly said on one interview that he doesn't. that the camera lightings may just be the cause of it.

Are my eyes green of hazel???

My eyes are very much like yours: mostly green, with some hazel (strong brown to yellowish brown) around the irises. If your eyes are like mine, the color can look very different depending upon what color you're wearing, lighting, etc.

I just found this on Wikipedia:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eye_color

"The perception of color depends upon various factors. These are the same eyes [see accompanying photo]; however, depending on the light and surrounding hues, the eye color can appear quite different."

and...

"Hazel eyes are due to a combination of a Rayleigh scattering and a moderate amount of melanin in the iris' anterior border layer. A number of studies using three-point scales have assigned "hazel" to be the medium-color between light brown and dark green. This can sometimes produce a multicolored iris, i.e., an eye that is light brown near the pupil and charcoal or amber/dark green on the outer part of the iris when it is open to the elements of the sun/shined in the sunlight. Hazel is mostly found in the regions of The Middle East, the Americas and Europe. Very rarely, hazel eyes can be found in populations of people with African or Asian descent.

"There is some difficulty in defining the eye color "hazel" as it is sometimes considered to be synonymous with light-brown and other times with dark green. They have been described as dark green or yellowish brown, or as a lighter shade of brown. Hazel eyes have also been described as being equivalent to a dark green or amber color eyes/light brown. In North America, "hazel" is often used to describe eyes that appear to change color, ranging from light brown to green and even gray, depending on current lighting in the environment."

There seems to be some disagreement as to what color name to use for our eyes, but I'll go with what my friend's son said to me, in astonishment (everyone in his family has blue eyes), when he was about five: "Hey, you have green eyeballs!"
.

My sister and I have different eye colours?

My sister and I have the same parents and everything but she is older than I by six years. I thought siblings usually have the same eye colour because they are fully related and have the same parents but my sister has very nice green eyes while I have brown. We are both white and my mother has hazel eyes. If my sister has green eyes, wasn't I supposed to get green eyes too? Or at least something different than brown? I use colour contacts 24/7 and I'm very jealous and envious of my sister because she got the nice eyes while I didn't. Am I wrong to believe that we were supposed to get the same eyes?
Thanks.

Are my eyes considered hazel or green?what is hazel?

Hi :)
So I took a look at the picture. Its too blurry to tell if you have green eyes or hazel eyes. But you have a really pretty eye :) You are probably wondering, "How hard can it be to tell an eye color!?!?!" Well its not that hard unless you have hazel eyes. So let me get down to answering your question.
Hazel eyes are a mixture of a few different colors. It is caused by different amounts of melanin in the iris and by Rayleigh scattering, which is the scattering of light by particles. There are two major types of hazel eyes. One type is a mix of blue, green, brown, or gold. The other type is a mixture of grey, gold, green, and brown. A lot of people who have hazel eyes never even know because their eyes change color and sometimes show one of the colors off more than the other. For example, in your eyes I can see little specks of other colors, but the dominant color is green. My eyes do that to. Like the dominant color is gold but I have green eyes and grey eyes and brown eyes too. I would say to go outside and take a look at your eyes. If they have a mixture of different colors, like I mentioned above, then you have hazel eyes. Another way to tell is ask people what color your eyes are. If you get different answers, chances are you have hazel eyes because then the different colors stand out in different lightings so they give the illusion of a different eye color.
In my humble opinion I think your eyes are hazel but have green as the dominant color. I cannot guarantee you that I am correct though because the picture is a bit blurry. But try out my tips and I am sure you will be able to find out. Also look up hazel eyes. If you find one that looks like your eye then you know you have hazel eyes.
Good luck :)
