What are all of the Sailor Moon movies? In what order should they be watched?

I love Sailor and so does my daughter, and she’s 21 y.o. The order of the Sailor Moon movies are: Sailor Moon R the Movie:Promise of the Rose (1993), Sailor Moon R: Special (1993), Sailor Moon S the Movie (1994), Sailor Moon Super S Plus: Ami’s First Love (1995), and Sailor Moon Super S: The Movie (1995).But in order to watch the movies, you should try watching the series season and the movie that correspond with that season (the year of the season). This way you would understand what is happening in the movie.Hope this helps.

Dragon Ball Z vs Sailor Moon?? Which is a better Anime?

dragon ball z FTW

How many seasons are there of Sailor Moon?

There are 5 seasons of Sailor Moon (Sailor Moon, Sailor Moon R, Sailor Moon S, Sailor Moon SuperS, and Sailor Stars.)

Sailor Moon (episodes 1-46): The beginning of the series. Has Sailor Moon, Mercury, Mars, Jupiter, and Venus, as well as the two cats and Tuxedo Kamen. Their main enemy in this is Queen Beryl/Metallia and the Four Generals (Jadeite, Nephrite, Zoisite, and Kunzite). Aka the Dark Kingdom Arc.

Sailor Moon R (episodes 47-89): The first part of the season deals with Ail and Ann (the Doom Tree aliens). The other half covers the arrival of Chibi-Usa, Usagi and Mamoru's daughter from the future, as well as her dark form, Black Lady, and the rest of the Dark Moon family. Aside from Chibi-Usa, it also introduces another important character, Sailor Pluto.

Sailor Moon S (episodes 90-127): Considered the "darkest" season of Sailor Moon. This season centers mostly around Hotaru Tomoe/Sailor Saturn. We also get to meet Sailor Uranus and Neptune. The story focuses around the search for the three talismans, which, when brought together, can save or destroy the planet, as well as the evil entity posessing Hotaru, known as Mistress 9.

Sailor Moon SuperS (episodes 128-166): This is Chibi Moon's and Elios' season, and is often described as the "cutesiest" season of them all. It introduces the Amazoness Quartet and Nehelenia, as well as some other minor characters. The story revolves around the Dead Moon Circus, their search for Pegasus's horn, and the Dream Mirror.

Sailor Stars (episodes 167-200): The last season! The first part is supposed to be a continuation of the previous season. The second half introduces the mysterious and cute Chibi Chibi, and the Sailor Starlights. The main story focuses around Galaxia and the Aninamates, who are after the Sailors' starseeds. The climax of the season, and the whole show itself, comes in the final fight between Sailor Moon and Galaxia, a last battle of good vs. evil.

I don't think there are any more seasons coming, unfortunately. You can still check out the 3 movies, plus there's a live-action version of Sailor Moon that centers around the first season of the anime.

Hope this helped! Peace~ ^^V

What is the love square like in Miraculous Ladybug and Sailor Moon?

The love square…it is one of the most frustrating plot developments of all time. It will make you scream and cry. You will be internally screaming and even jumping out of your chair trying to force the screen to make these two realize that they’re in love with the same person. Oh, just me? Okay…Marinette(Ladybug) is in love with Adrien(Chat Noir). Chat Noir(Adrien) is in love with Ladybug(Marinette) and they don’t know that the other is their alter-ego’s love interest. They believe it’s four separate people but it’s only two.Master Fu is Marinette's GrandfatherPersonally this is why I love the show so much. Watching the two grow closer and seeing a budding romance is just so fangirl worthy.I haven’t finished watching Sailor Moon(the new one that they updated) but once I have, I can edit this one for the rest of the love square.

Good fantasy/romance/action anime (preferably on Netflix)?

Ranma 1/2 is by the same author as Inuyasha, though it's not a fantasy setting the interaction between the characters is similar. The same author also wrote Maison Ikkoku, which is a little less action-centric and more a straight romantic comedy. The romance and humor in all three is fairly similar, so you might enjoy them... but if the fantasy swords-and-sorcery element is highly important to you, then maybe not.

You might like Earl and Fairy.

There's also Shakugan no Shana.

If you haven't seen Sailor Moon, it's sort of in that same area. (Though I found the later seasons kind of repetitive, season 1 is pretty good.)

What is an anime with a layed back and strong main character?

Why do people whine about anime?

Well there are a few reasons actually, before discussing them let's see what other entertainment options people broadly have :MoviesTV showsCartoonsComics, etcOne of the most important aspects of any of the above sources of entertainment is to have a good gripping story, and other qualities people expect include action, sci-fi, comedy, etc. But as humans act in a movie or a TV show, there is only a limit to what they can do, act or show. I agree that there are some brilliant and stunning movies like Avatar, but if you start counting really good ones, then there are only a handful from the total. Now in the case of TV shows, the directors' content is limited by the present technology. Additionally, they have to pay the actors and crew working in the shows, so most shows don't have the budget for extraordinary graphics and visual effects. Now you may ask, okay so what about animated movies or cartoons? But you are missing one important information my friend, animated movies or cartoons are typically targeted towards children, as they are the ones who buy the merchandise like action figures, Barbie dolls, etc. There were some cartoons in the 90's which actually had some story in them, but these days that's not the case. But that's not the case with anime(Japanese cartoons) (or manga(Japanese comics) in that case), they have a few things going which make them different from others. No real actors, just animators and graphics department and artists. That's a small group.Almost all the anime are targeted towards teens and youth, so their stories are directed towards that age group. Most of the characters in n an anime in anime are under 20 years of age and are somewhat relatable (yeah I know there is culture difference, hence the “somewhat”).If you still dont believe me, try an anime out yourself.I'll try to update this answer as and when I come across more reasons.Peace.

Why do some people think English dubbed anime is horrible?

I don’t dislike “English dubbed anime”.I just dislike badly dubbed anime. It just happens that in 99% of the cases, one of the following is true:The dubbing quality is bad.The person who wrote the script understands neither English nor Japanese. The original is just way better. For me, the phrase that describes dubbed anime isVoice actors in Japan are treated as celebrities (the major ones). They are paid lots of money, and there is honor in their profession. When it comes to dubbers, very often you have unprofessional voice actors just looking to make a quick buck. And it doesn’t help that they aren’t seen as proper voice actors by the general population. Also, dubs are quite weird to watch.Hey, if you’re gong to watch a Japanese anime, with all elements Japanese as well as being made in Japan, better watch it in Japanese right?Would you watched F.R.I.E.N.D.S with a bad dub? No?Then why would I watch something like this? The voices make me cringe too…Basically, dubs lack emotion, clarity, and feel. This is not to say that all dubs are bad. There are good dubs too, but many of them are outclassed by the original. For example, Steins;Gate has a great dub. But the Japanese voice acting is so far beyond even it’s own fellow Japanese voices that the dub hardly any attention. There are some dubs though, that are way better than the original. Hyperdimension Neptunia for example. But the dub for Ghost Stories takes the number one place for BEST dub ever. The original bombed so hard, so that the company told the dub voice actors to do whatever they want. This resulted in a hilarious dub.So there you have it.Majority of the dubs are bad, and among the good dubs, the original is almost always better.Bonus clip: From Dragon Ball Z’s Big Green Dub (see comments)
