How did the Armenian Genocide end?

Armenian Genocide started April 24, 1915. and ended when modern Turkey was established by Kemal Ataturk 1923.

Talat Pasha and two others were prosecuted in Turkey. But Talat ran away to Germany. He was later shot by an Armenian Genocide survivor whose whole family was murdered. Read the links you will find much better information in detail.

It ended with Armenians losing their ancestral homeland Anatolia. 1.5 million Armenians were killed. Remember on the other side of Turkey Greeks and Assyrians were also killed and deported, Why? Because they were also Christians. Either they had to convert to Christianity or die. Armenians have very long and interesting history. If you have read about Tigranes the Great he was labeled as "King of Kings. These were the Roman times when there was no Turk in Anatolia.

What caused the Armenian Genocide of 1915?

The turks had killed 1.5million armenians because they wouldn't convert to their heritage. So, The turkish Sultan Abdul Hamid II had about 200-500,000 armenians killed in the late1800's.But, the "Young Turks" overthrew the sultan and were in power and they wanted to cleanse the empire of all Christians. So, since the armenians were christians, they were the turk's main target. They were heavily and brutally killed, forced to go into the desert which was considered "relocation" in which the men were tortured, shot, and other acts while the women were raped and tortured horribly. Most women wanted to avoid rape by any means so they drowned themselves in the river which had been filled with corpses and blood. Most of them just died of starvation.Doctors were hung, Soldiers were killed and had their heads cut off and used as trophies. After, the government did the best that they could to help. Most armenians survived, children were taken into orphanages while others starved on the streets. To this day, The turkish government denies it ever happening, calling it "propaganda" and claiming that Armenians massacred turks.I hope that this helped

The importance of the Armenian Genocide? I NEED HELP. EMERGENCY!?

you didn't really specify a document, but here's what important about the armenian genocide.

The Armenian Genocide was an inspiration to Hitler, who saw that the Turks were able to kill a million Armenians without retribution. The Turks tried to exterminate all the Armenians as a scapegoat to their failing Empire. Armenians were spread around the world in a diaspora after that. The Armenian Genocide was the first modern genocide, although Turkey still disputes its occurrence. The issue of recognizing the Armenian Genocide is important in American politics because recognizing it would seem to be a direct affront to Turkish-American relations, so Obama will not recognize it even though it was a campaign promise of his to do so.
