If im being chaptered out of the army under chapter 5-17 (honorable), am i entitled to separation pay? ?
d. 5-17 Other designated physical or mental conditions- Involuntary - Conditions not amounting to disability that potentially interfere with assignment or ability to perform duties to include a wide variety of problems. 1) A memorandum addressing all aspects of the Report of Mental Status Evaluation from a psychiatrist or licensed clinical psychologist qualified to make such diagnosis 2) Medical exam from clinical doctor 3) A properly completed DA Form 4856 indicating that paragraph 1-16 counseling to include a statement describing inability to perform because of personality disorder. 4) NCO Escort and if your time is up then no u r not entitled to sepration pay
Are there any shortcuts to completing SSD1?
I'm a PFC and i'm being required to complete SSD1. I'm getting out in 6 months and I don't care about going to WLC or getting E-5. I'm told by my command that if I don't complete the other 7 modules before Dec 23rd then instead of going home for leave I'll be staying on post and working on SSD1. I've been flagged from "favorable actions" so from what I understand, leave is a favorable action and if my PLT SGT suggests to my commander that i stay, which he will, then I'm probably staying. I'd really like to go home for christmas guys. Any help, I'd appreciate. Christmas spirit, hooah?
