Bad Nose With Dorsal Hump Tips And Suggestions

Is there any way to get rid of the dorsal hump in my nose without surgery?

As a rhinoplasty surgeon, I would normally tell you that a surgical rhinoplasty is the only option to reduce a dorsal hump. However, if you fall into a small subset of patients, you may be a candidate for a nonsurgical rhinoplasty, where hyaluronic acid fillers are injected into the nose to create the illusion that the hump is reduced. There are generally 4 indications:If the area between the eyes (radix) is low and you have a dorsal hump.To fill in contour irregularitiesTo raise a drooping tipTo partially “straighten” a crooked noseIf you fall under these categories, a nonsurgical rhinoplasty is an option. I would recommend consulting with a Board-Certified plastic surgeon who is experienced in both surgical and nonsurgical rhinoplasty. He or she will accurately evaluate your nose and develop a plan according to your needs.

That's my nose. I really do hate it. Even though no one except for a few people have said anything about my nose to me, I still feel insecure and embarrassed. I would get surgery but it's just scary thinking about the knives being shoved up my nose and also the costs. Does my nose really look that bad or should I go for surgery?

I hate my nose hump?

Think rationally here. You can't have rhinoplasty (nose job) until you're 16, and that's only if you get lucky and find a reputable nose surgeon that's willing to do it so early. I think we all hate our noses at some point in our lives, whether it's too big or small or just plainly doesn't match our face. Learn to build up your confidence and focus on how beautiful the front-view of your nose looks.

Emphasize that in your pictures, and pay no mind to the superficial things. It's just a tiny bone in your nose. I know a girl who has a hump in her nose and she's one of the most popular girls in my school because she doesn't let it get to her and she lets her true personality shine through instead of her surface looks. Focus on your clothes style, your hair, your makeup, anything that distracts you.

Once you get it out of your mind, you'll feel more free. And when you're of the right age, you can make the decision to get the dorsal hump removed or not.

Don't let a freaking nose hold you back from living. :]

What are the reasons to undergo Nose Surgery?

The most common nose surgery is called Rhinoplasty or nose job. This is a form of surgery that is done to give shape to a nose. Here are some common reasons (atleast what I feel) why people undergo nose surgery:Many people suffer from horrible self-esteem problems due to what others have commented on them regarding the shape and size of their nose. So the best step is to go for rhinoplasty.Be it a terrible domestic situation, weekend warrior bruises or a car wreck, it is the nose which catches the worst of this. The nose when broken needs to be put back carefully to avoid disfigurements. There are some people who have in-born defects such as a deviated septum. This means when the septum which parts the nose into nostrils is deformed it blocks the air entering the nostrils which potentially causes snoring.Just as a cake becomes complete with the right icing similarly the perfect shaped nose will give one the complete look. For those who are not satisfied with their nose can opt for a surgery to reshape or repair it and walk with pride and confidence.Do you want to save the embarassment of deformed nose structure?Cosmetic Surgery Institute brings you the most safe option of Rhinoplasty Surgery that suits your requirement of having a perfect, sharp nose.

Do any of the non-surgical nose job tools work? Nasofix, nose right, magic nose?

I'm 15 and my nose used to be small and cute, but after I started wearing glasses the top got thinner and the bottom got wider. I want to use one of the simple nose fixing plastic things that I found online, to make my nose a little more even, but all of them have positive and negative reviews.

I want one that is 20 dollars or less, and 30 dollars is the limit. I'm saving up for gas money and other stuff.

I think magic nose is the cheapest, but I see lots of news that it's a scam. I also see people saying it really helped them.

Magic nose has a lot more positive reviews and a lot less talk of scams, but it says it takes longer. I'm fine with that. There are a few websites that say its a scam though, so I'm worried.

Nasofix is 30 dollars so I'm reluctant to buy it, as the other nose fixers are around 15 dollars. I haven't found anything saying Nasofix is a scam, but I have seen reviews with before and after pictures where there isn't that much of a visible difference. The differences seem small. There are lots of positive reviews, though.

Can pressing down on your nose make the bump go away?

I have a big bony bump on my nose. It is seriously destroying my life and confidence. Im 14 in ninth grade. I am constantly looking at from all angles in the mirror. I press it, pull it, put ice on it, but I don't know if this does anything.

I think it's called a dorsal or nasal hump.

Is there anything I can do to get rid of it without surgery? Should I continue to press on it?
