Bad Stomach Ache And Diarrhea . What Could It Be

Stomach ache and diarrhea, should I go to school?

This sounds pretty nasty but I'll explain..
My stomach has been hurting extremely bad the whole day at school to the point where in every class all I could do was put my head down and close my eyes. It has felt like I need to throw up. Like to the point where I can feel it coming up. I had a soccer game and dinner with my team and I just felt 100x more terrible. I got home and went straight to the bathroom and took the most watery poop of my life. Then I had to go again 10 minutes later and it was even bigger. I've gone 6 times since I've got home. I feel nauseous and my stomach is killing me. I haven't taken any medicine. It's 11:00 and i can't sleep with the constant runs. Should I go to school tomorrow? I really don't feel like I'm well enough. Should I tell my parents I can't go in the morning?

Diarrhea and stomach pains?

Hello, for the past 3 days i've been having what I can only describe as bad stomach pains accompanied with a need to go to the toilet and it's always watery or in bits and it happens every hour to 2 hours or so.

I've been fighting it off with strong painkillers but is this a case of bad diarrhea or should I be worried?

Why does coffee make me have a stomach ache and diarrhea?

Coffee is very acidic. Your digestive tract has enough acid in it. This is your body's way of purging the poison from the coffee. Or you could be allergic. If you drink it with cream, are you lactose intolerant. If you drink it with sugar, are you hypoglycemic. Many things can cause you upset, including the water, the coffee maker, the cup, what you wash the cup with. I just would not drink it if it had that effect on me.

Symptoms : Diarrhea and stomach ache - What could it be?

You may have eaten something that made your stomach upset. Having diarrhea is the body's response to get rid of the bug that you might have taken in. The pain maybe coming from the inflammation in your gastrointestinal tract from the bug. Or it maybe from the hyperactivity of your gut. Sometimes your gut is moving so fast that you feel a cramping pain. You have to understand the how the gut works. Your gut basically absorbs water and nutrients. When it is inflammed, it does not absorb nutrients and water as it should. The gut also contracts more as a response to infection. So in the end, you get diarrhea coz most of the water is not absorbed. The longer the food stay in your gut, the drier your poo becomes.

I always get stomach aches (not cramps) and diarrhea before and during my period. Why does this happen and how can I prevent it?

Happens to me too—I blame the postglandins. You and Your HormonesThey are hormones that help slough off the lining of your uterus during menstruation, causing little muscle spasms. They can impact the other smooth muscles in your belly, causing your digestive system to spasm as well—causing pain and diarrheaMy Dr. said it’s pretty common. If it’s bothersome, take a NSAID for a few days before your period and during it. It will keep the muscle contractions down, so you can leave the bathroom :)If it’s very bothersome, tell your doctor. You may need something prescribed to take the edge off.

I'm 38 weeks pregnant with diarrhea and a stomach ache that comes and goes. What could this be?

I've gone to the bathroom several times today, and my stomach hurts off and on. It is pretty sharp pains up high in my abdomen (above the top of my uterus - I think), like the ones you might get with diarrhea even when you aren't pregnant. Earlier in the day I felt a bit nauseous and didn't really want to eat or drink anything. I've finally been able to eat (I've been forcing myself to sip water, even when I didn't want to). If the diarrhea is still around tomorrow morning, I'm going call my doctor. Do you think this could be a sign of upcoming labor, or do you think that I am just sick?

Why do I get a stomach ache and diarrhea after drinking milk, even if it is lactose-free?

You may have a sensitivity to the protein casein.Lactose is a sugar naturally found in milk, and it can be removed from milk by adding the enzyme lactase. However, this does nothing to the protein casein, which is the cause of milk allergy. Many people that assume that they are lactose intolerant are actually responding to casein.Things made with cream will tend to have very low amounts of casein, compared to those made with milk. Try eating some fruit pie without milk (butter is OK), and put a dollop of whipped cream on top and eat it. Butter and cream have very low amounts of casein compared to milk. If you have no (or very mild response), then you are probably OK with lactose and sensitive to casein. The next day, eat a lump of aged cheddar cheese. It has a lot of cassein and no lactose.

Is it normal to have a stomach ache and diarrhea after drinking fresh milk?

When you say “fresh milk” do you mean raw/unpasteurized milk? Does this happen every time you drink milk, or occasionally? Many have correctly stated that lactose intolerance may be the cause. Lactose intolerance is higher among some groups (such as Asians) as well, which might be a clue. However raw milk (unpasteurized) is more likely to harbor pathogens and at higher levels than pasteurized milk (not that all raw milk has unhealthy pathogen levels, but it is more likely to). This could be your issue.
