Bangladesh Open University Exam Routine

What is the best university coaching center for the science unit in Dhaka, Bangladesh?

In my experience, Udvash.I was a student at their Uttara branch for about a month. 3 hour long classes, narrow benches, and crowded rooms were all part of the experience, but don't let that put you off. Virtually any science engineering coaching center you attend will have the same. Now, they have ac, the teachers are dedicated enough and they supply loads of source material. In the end i left because i realized that my basic knowledge, how much i had studied in college wasn't going to be good enough to get me into XUET.Engineering admission is a grueling system and the comfort of your coaching center is going to be the last thing on your mind.Ps: if you find tou haven't achieved the required grades in HSC halfway through the coaching they'll separate you into another class which focuses on the A unit of regular universities which are easier than engineering universities to get admitted in.

Why does Notre Dame College/NDC, Bangladesh suck?

Ok first of all, I have nothing better to do, so here goes nothing. Secondly, the reasons I am qualified to answer the question are (a) I studied in NDC, Dhaka and (b) I also agree it sucks. But before even answering the question something must be cleared and that is, your question is very much subjective. The statement that “X sucks” is a completely personal matter. You and I say NDC sucks but there are thousands of others who will passionately (and sometimes almost violently) disagree. But I will try my best to give you an objective answer. An institution like Notre Dame College follows a strict code while emphasizing on discipline and practical learning (i.e. labs). This unique way of teaching is actually effective for a lot of students that come here. For example, students from rural background do indeed benefit from NDC teachers because they have experience with such students. NDC also creates a lot of hardworking and disciplined students. But “a lot” is not all, there are people like you and me, who adhere to a different way of academics and for us, NDC SUCKS. The awkward lab routines waste so much time, the pressure of quizzes inhibit us from doing other stuff, compulsory attendance works against our ECAs, the mindset of teachers that all students must be broken apart then rebuilt make us go through unnecessary obstacles. And the clubs, which basically suck (sorry, I am biased here). I felt there are some good things too, but the bad things kinda outweigh them. So, the bottom line is NDC does indeed suck, and for some students, this is a good thing; but for all, probably not. So, choose a college that is good for you, don’t care about what others say. (Also pray that no hardcore NDC student sees this question and answer or both of us will have to deactivate our Facebook accounts)

How can I take a supplementary exam in BUET?

First you need to get a lag.You need to make sure you are ready for te supplì.Register, go to department office at the beginning of the semester in which you want to sit for the supplì, ask for forms.Fill up, contact advisor.Go to register building, collect bank receipt.Fill up the bank receipt and pay the amount. (Maybe 1000 taka per credit)You need to register online somewhere in the middle. Not sure after which step. But similar to regular registration and needs forwarding by advisor.Might have missed some steps. You go to your Dept office and ask, gradually follow the steps. The course you want to take should have been taught in the last semester, meaning there must be someone taking the course in the semester prior the one you are trying to take it.The exam will be during mid term. You can register for only one course per semester.Hope this helps.

Do MBBS students have to study all the time? I have heard that medical college students have a lot of pressure, they barely complete their sleep.

Its a real misconception that MBBS people have to study all the time.I am a final year exam going student in KMC,Mangalore.I had one of my best days while in MBBS.I go to the gym regularly (Fitness is important!)This is me in final year MBBS.I went to the Netherlands from my college to present a paper recently and ended up going to Paris,Switzerland,Leiden and Germany all in final year.Last month we had a huge party in our college called 'Socials' although it was only 2 days we were planning it since 1 month. These are few pics of SOCIALSAfter this we went to Goa and Munnar too.And Diwali party afer that. Our usual Saturday night preparationsBTW I'm writing this sitting in the library which is underground so I won't be seeing today's sunset. ( Exams are up next week)My 1st 1k upvotes. Thank you :)EDIT 1: Many people are saying that I'm from a rich background so I have all these perks.Yes maybe my college fees is high but the quality of the education that I get is outstanding! Trust me when I say this! And I didn't pay a single penny to get admitted here (Through merit only).Furthermore,to get in here I left AIIMS (7 others),A college in UP (State Quota) and also another one in Maharashtra (NEET-UG) a copy of my Rank card :And I can sponsor my own needs as I run a business in Mangalore (Where my college is)So instead of complaining that people who aren't rich can't afford all the leisures life will give you, there are many opportunities, one should start recognising them.“To be able to sacrifice for what you are for what you'll become" -Eric ThomasAlso, start investing on your health rather than terrorising it with junk food and laziness, trust me it makes a huge difference.

How should I study to get admitted in BUET ?

I will break down the answer into three steps: eligibility, academic and mental prep.Eligibility: You need to have at least GPA 5, in case of HSC. In case of English Medium, the minimum requirement is at least B in English, Math,Pure Math, Physics, Chemistry in O Levels and minimum of A in Math,Physics and Chemistry in A Levels.Academic: There are two phases here: self study and institution.Self study: In case of mathematics, try do all the exercises. Do all of them, easy and hard. In case of physics and chemistry, memotize the formulas and do all the math exercises. There is no need to go through the theory. After completion of 80 percent of all the sets, start doing the previous year question papers and if you find trouble in any particular recurring topic, study it again.Institution: You need to register to an instituion if you desire to get a good position in the merit list. It’s become almost a must. The two most popular ones are for Udvash and Sunrise. Attend all the classes and do all the mocks. This is another must. Never miss any one of them, even if you do bad. The continous exam process will help you in the time issue.3. Mental prep: The last thing, which is the most important, is the mental prep. You must take the prep without the least stress and tension possible. Also, you must not think that not getting into BUET is the end of life. Finally, take the time issue into account. Practise by taking time into account. Also, your attitude should be to answer more and not finish the paper. Try to answer tge easy questions as soon as possible.Happy Admission prep :)
