Beachbody Insanity Or Focus T25 Workout For .

Beachbody insanity or FOCUS T25 workout for...?

All right, so basically, either program will get you INSANE results. I've done both Insanity and Focus T25. It's hard to compare them, they're similar yet incredibly different. Both programs are high intensity, total body workout programs. It depends on how long you want to workout for. Insanity is between 40-60 minutes in length. The 60 minute workouts are for the second phase. Focus T25, the workouts are 25 minutes, then an additional 2-3 min cool down.

Now, I sweat my butt off in Insanity and with T25, I'm dripping sweat by the time I finish the workout AND its only 25 minutes a day, 5 days a week! It even has a day (Thursdays if you start on a Monday) where it's strictly abs/core the whole time, called Ab Intervals. All in all, it's completely up to you, but I now prefer T25 over Insanity, and I've done two rounds of Insanity.

I would love to be your coach through this and I'm actually starting a Focus T25 challenge group on July 15! I'd love for you to join.

Beachbody Focus T25.. Is it worth it?

Focus T25 will provide a solid foundation for improving your fitness level. That said, it is not that your fitness level will be any less impressive after completing the program. But in comparison with Insanity it is somewhat easier. The results are thus, understandably, somewhat slower to come. But they will, and are usually impressive. This is however possible only if you stick with the principles of the nutrition guide that comes along with the program. Not follow it by the T, mind you, but only follow the basic principles of healthy diet that are outlined in there.

As far as injuries go, this is the only place where Focus T25 is superior than the Insanity workout. That and time, that is. The chance of injury is dramatically decreased mainly because the workouts start with a warm up that is very gradually building up, compared to the Insanity warm ups that are flat out from the start. Also, the modified versions of every movement are a great addition, both to avoid injuries and help people with very low fitness level to still be able to progress.

Here is a review that I believe will help you a lot.

Which is a better workout program, Focus T25 or Insanity?

What are the best beachbody workout for beginners and how should one perform them?

There are there are a lot of Beachbody workouts for beginners and all of them will work if you follow them. Most people will say 21 Day Fix because it is the most popular, it features a modifier, the pricing is reasonable, it has a nutrition plan that fosters clean eating and delivers fast results. Do not neglect the nutrition plan because most of your visible results will depend on your diet. The best one will depend on the preferences, strengths, and abilities of the person. Do you have any injuries? Have you ever worked out, been in shape, competed atheletically, or danced? How much weight do you have to lose? How much time do you have to work out? What have you done in the past to get in shape? Is it more important for you to get results quickly or developing a lifetime habit of exercise? What kind of trainer or style of workout appeals to you? The best thing to do is to choose a well-informed Beachbody coach who will ask you these types of questions and work with you to keep you engaged in the right program for you at the time.

Should I start with Focus T25 and then graduate to Insanity Max: 30?

Focus T25 is definitely a great routine to start out. If you are anemic focus on the modifier option where in a person is doing low impact exercises for the entire 25 minute period. Since you are not fit currently starting out just follow the modifier, trust me even the modifier is not as easy as you think and even following the modifier will definitely improve your fitness over time. I would say stay away from insanity max now as insanity is tougher and insanity max is even tougher because insanity max is almost insanity condensed into a 30 minute workout and would definitely be not a good idea starting out. Also focus t25 has 3 levels alpha, beta and gamma. You could do all 3 with modifier level starting out and finish it and then you can repeat the entire cycle without the modifier option and then graduate to insanity max.You have to stick to a healthy diet when you are doing all this though. All of the work you put in through the program will be pointless if you eating junk food.

Does Insanity or Focus T25 build muscles/strength?

When you buy Insanity, you'll get a calendar with the workouts scheduled for each day. It'll cover 9 weeks of workouts which is 2 months of workouts separated by a 1 week recovery week. On the 1st day of the 1st and 3rd week of each month you'll do a fit test and you'll record your results on the calendar. Each time you do a fit test, assuming you're not an absolutely useless piece of shit, you WILL see an increase in your results. Greater effort will yield better results of course. The first time I did Insanity, I was very lazy and I did not keep up with everything Shaun T was doing. I would take water breaks even when he wasn't and I would rest WAY more than what than they did in the videos. I admit, I even kind of skipped parts just because it was that hard for me. Even though I did this, I wasn't a completely a useless piece of shit, I stuck with it and my fit tests improved each time.  This motivated me to stick with it and my results skyrocketed towards the end. With this in mind, I cannot possibly believe someone can do Insanity without improving on the fit test. I was a pretty shitty candidate to begin with but I still got results. The improvement on the fit test throughout the program is a pretty accurate measurement of your strength increasing IMO. There are no scientific measurements, I'm just using common sense. I also completed T25 but I don't recall doing any form of measurable fit test with it. I started doing T25 as a maintenance sort of thing. Insanity is more of the game changer, IMO. However, there are a lot of similarities in the program and as long as you're consistent, you will undoubtedly grow muscles over the course of the program.Lastly, both of the programs are cardio oriented and if you're goals are solely to gain muscle mass, you might want to look at a more resistance oriented program (i.e.: P90X, Body Beast).  If you're fairly inactive, T25 and Insanity will undoubtedly allow gains, but not as much as resistance oriented programs.
