Which hair straightening product is the best shiseido or matrix?

Chi...

I did hair straightening with a Matrix product before last year in October. Can I use another product when going to a hair salon for rebounding and straightening? Or should I only use Matrix products?

Myself and product companies will always suggest that you follow manufacturer's recommendations, as well as, using the same line all together. With that being said, you should be good to go on using a different product.Matrix Opti Smooth has three different kind of smoothing systems so it's hard to give you a direct answer on advice. If anything, I would suggest you contact Matrix directly in order to find out the longevity of the product in your hair.

Best hair straightening product?

I'm new to hair straightening (and here). I would like to know what hair protect products people suggest to protect hair before straightening it (preferably one that's not TO expensive but works quite well)

What is a good product to straighten your hair with?

go to folica.com. there is this flatiron that i use. it is the best flatiron ever. you'll never want to straighten your hair again. it makes it shiny and you'll look like you have asian hair. it's call sedu. i've used it for almost 4 years and my hair isn't dry or damaged even after all this time. as w/all heating appliances, you should condition your hair regularly and whenever possible try and give your hair a rest from all kinds of styling products. this is the best product i've ever used. i've straighten my hair so many times and nothing has ever come close or lasted as long as i wanted. it was never worth all the money. try this. it's great.

What's the best hair straightening cream/balm?

I would definitly say anything bedhead. Behead is a great brand, and they have a lot of strraighening products. The control freak is a great straightening serum, and comes in different straightening levels. (1 being the lowest, 4 being the highest.) Also, Garnier Fructis has many wonderful products. Garnier Fructis style, sleek & shine flat iron perfecter is a really good spray-on product. Not only does it keep your hair straight for 48 hrs, it is also a heat protectant and keeps your hair safe. The only downside is that you do have to use a flat iron, wheras with the bedhead control freak, you just spray in the foam, and leave your hair like that. Neither of them are really creams, but they both work extremely well.

What are good straightening hair products in walmart?

You should just buy biosilk. My hairstylist always recommends it. I know it's a tad bit expensive at around 13 to almost 30 dollars (depending on the quantity of the bottle you purchase and the prices where you live). I'd say it's worth it because it does both of those things. Sometimes it's better to splurge on products that actually do work like they're supposed to. It's good for your hair. So I really do recommend that you try it at least once. You can put it in both dry and wet hair.

Where it says heat protection/UV protection, that means it's ok to straighten your hair with it.

What hair straightening heat protectant products work?

I have regular, frizzy and wavy hair. I have just brought a hair straighner but have found out that the heat damages your hair. Can you recomend some products I can use to minimise the damage?

Also if their are any products that stop the frizz because my straigner makes my hair straight but doesnt kill the frizz?

If you could recomend some products that are cheap and easy to get hold of?

thanks
