What is the easiest way to add margins to a PDF document?

The PDF format has generally been a final format and application's like Nitro Pro display documents like they were presented at creation. Currently Nitro Pro doesn't provide a mechanism to adjust margins which would ideally reflow text when needed, changing the documents representation. There are ways to manually adjust a document's structure like using the Edit tool however a margins feature which would allow you to do this directly within Nitro Pro doesn't currently exist. I would recommend the following solution if it can be applied to your specific document and you have an editing suite like Microsoft Office, or Open Office available.Convert your document to the docx format under Home and Convert to WordAdjust your margins, you might need to go to View and check Ruler under ShowEither using the Nitro Pro 9 Office Addin (if using Word) or our Nitro PDF Creator, Create a PDF from the word document. You should now have a PDF file which has the defined margins you set earlier in step 2.Here is a short screencast highlighting this in Office 2013 and Nitro Pro 9 : Nitro Pro 9 - Margin Screencast

What is the easiest way to edit a PDF?

In my understanding, you want to change original text in PDF, am I right? If your PDF is native file which is searchable and selectable, you can open it with PDFelement on your PC or Mac, and directly edit it under “Edit” mode. (see image below) Edited text would automatically match original font and size.If your PDF is scanned or images, you need to OCR(Optical Character Recognition) first to convert it into searchable and editable file. PDFelement 6 Pro can complete the OCR.Original file:After OCR:After OCR, then you can edit the PDF file directly under “Edit” mode.If you want to edit PDF on you iPhone, you can have PDFelement for iOS. As I know, it is the only free App offering PDF text editing and converting feature in Apple Store. (Please note, iOS version does not include OCR, therefore, you can only edit native PDF file. For scanned PDF, you can only annotate with drawing tool)

Do employers prefer Word or PDF files when emailing a resume?

It depends on the employer.

My husband's old boss used to say that whenever she received a document as a word doc, she would go through and see what kinds of shortcuts they used to create it. For example, using tabs instead of adjusting the margins, etc. If what she found out demonstrated that the person clearly couldn't use Word, then she wouldn't call them back.

Ever since I found that out, I send my resume as a PDF. If your resume looks good, that's all that an employer should know -- unless you want to show off that you are a perfect Word user.

How can I adjust a PDF file as the size of Kindle?

The short answer is that you can’t.PDF is a page description language. It positions text and other elements on a fixed page canvas that cannot be resized. Any connection between pieces of text on different pages is gone.It may be possible to convert simple PDF-s (ones that are mostly text) to MOBI/AZW used by the Kindle. Calibre will do that. It won’t be perfect, but may be usable. If results are unacceptable, you can also use Calibre to edit the converted version. Alternatively Calibre can convert to MS Word. You can then mess with that before conversion to MOBI/AZW. Expect blood, sweat and tears.

What is the maximum number of passport size photos we can place in a A4 document?

Here is a link to the Adobe page about using the Picture Package plug-in.

http://help.adobe.com/en_US/photoshop/cs...

You have to download the plug-in since it is not part of Photoshop by default and it should show up in the Automate Menu.

Here is the math for max number of pics on the A4 paper. Since you are using A4 paper I will assume you are also using a passport photo size of 45mm tall and 35mm wide which is pretty standard except the US which is 2"x2" (50.8mm).

A4 paper is 297 tall and 210 wide. So the 35mm width will allow exactly 6 images across (assuming you can print borderless) Then you get 6 images tall (297/45=6.6).

So the answer is 36 images max can fit. More realistically, you will only get 5 images across since you need a margin for most printers and then 30 images per page.

Is it possible to crop a page before printing it?

Really simple way....

Press Print Screen Key (PrtSc)

Open Paint... Paste....

Crop... Open new paint document.... paste... print....

Or you can print it to a PDF (using like doPDF - acts like a printer but just saves a PDF to your computer instead) and then take out what pages you dont want.
