How long is it safe to take phentermine?
Ever since the Media heard about the drug (Phen-fen) people now think that any drug that starts with Phen or fen is BAD for you. I found a website, that changed my life! Phentermine was never banned. The drug ( Fenflurimine ) was the drug that was used along with Phentermine that caused all the heart problems. Doctors still prescribe Phentermine every day. You can purchase it over the internet, also. It kept me from (diabetes) This disease is killing everyone in the U.S. Other countries have none or very few overweight people. They only eat three meals a day, socialize alot, and with small portions and their bodies are used to it. We all think we have to have big plates and big portions to eat to be happy. People just can not understand, what portions are. Our Restaurants, are killing us ! I have read so many answers, here, about Phentermine, that really upset me. If everyone would go to phen-pro.com and read the TRUTH about it, there would be alot less Fat people in the United States. Phentermine (30) and Prozac (40) - safe?
Is it safe to take Phentermine 30 MG with Prozac 40 MG? I know it's suppose to take Phen with a "low" dose of Prozac, but i'm not sure whether 40 mg would be considered low? Safe combination?
Can I take decadron and phentermine together?
I'm a dentist. First and foremost, did you tell your oral surgeon that you were on phentermine? Always tell any doctor you see everything about your health history, including all your medications. Second, I've never heard of someone being prescribed a course of Decadron after wisdom teeth extractions. One dose pre-op (usually 8mg intravenously) is most common. I'm sure your oral surgeon knows what she's doing, nonetheless. I cannot think of any problem with taking a steroid (Decadron) with an amphetamine, except for the fact that both Decadron and phentermine (an amphetamine) can increase your blood pressure. Since you're likely a young person (under the age of 20, I suppose), it's unlikely that this would be a major issue, especially from what is likely to be a short course of Decadron. Nonetheless, check your blood pressure to make sure it's not high.

What are the dangers of taking phentermine and Xanax at the same time?
In general, taking medications that have counteractive effects on the body is seen as a risky practice (think heroin and cocaine). Phentermine is a stimulant (which is why it takes away your appetite), while Xanax is a benzodiazepine and is a sedative. Will you die by taking them together? Probably not. There are no known biological interactions between these two medicines. What I will say, is that if you suffer from anxiety (hence the Xanax), Phentermine will most likely make your anxiety worse, while Xanax can lower your inhibitions and cause you to eat foods you know you shouldn’t be eating while dieting (which is why people take phentermine). This is all said assuming you are taking the prescribed doses of these medications. If you are taking these medications in higher doses in an attempt to get high (I am not accusing you of this, I am just stating a “what-if”), then you may be asking for trouble, especially because unlike many stimulants, Phentermine has a much a stronger negative side effect profile compared to many other stimulants. Also, if you were to take Xanax in a high enough dose, you may blackout, and then have no recollection of actions you took while the drug was taking effect. To conclude, if you have taken your Phentermine, and have a panic attack, I see no reason to not take a small amount of Xanax for relief, but of course you may want to ask a doctor this same question, and get the opinion of a medical professional, as opposed to the opinion of a random person on the internet.

Minocycline and phentermine safe together?
Call your dermatologist or pharmacist. You should have told the dermatologist what you were currently taking when you were there. On a side note: I took minocycline for my acne and it worked very very well - until I had a mild allergic reaction to it. (Turns out i"m one of a rare few allergic to tetra-cyclines, which I'd never had before) But it took 2 wks to get to a hi enough content in my blood to cause the reaction......in that two weeks though, my face looked phenomenal - so good luck, i truly hope your are not allergic to it!
I've been taking Phentermine for the past 2 months. I have been off of it for 3 days and am now so tired. What are the withdrawal symptoms and how long do they last?
The good news is that you are on your way through the withdrawal symptoms. You should also be through the worst or almost through the worst, most intense part of the withdrawal symptoms, especially fatigue.When you stop taking Phentermine, or any stimulant, you are likely going to experience fatigue, weight gain, insomnia(ability to sleep at night), and low mood.The fatigue should start getting better. Phentermine is a central nervous system stimulant so it should be expected that when you quit taking it you will experience fatigue while your body adjusts. Since it has been a few days you should notice the levels of fatigue lessening. I have not taken Phentermine but have taken other prescribed stimulants for Narcolepsy and the level of fatigue and daytime sleepiness dramatically increases when quitting. With the medication I was on it took 1-2 weeks to get through the worst of the rebound fatigue. I was sleeping approximately 18 or more hours a day for the first week and then things improved some. Keep in mind I have narcolepsy so it shouldn't be as extreme for you. Weight gain will unfortunately probably happen as well. Weight gain, in my opinion, should be expected more at first while you are getting through the withdrawal symptoms and feeling fatigued and not moving around and exercising. Your appetite will most likely come back as well since Phentermine and other stimulants suppress appetite. If you make a serious effort to continue exercising as soon as the fatigue fades you can dramatically lower the chances and the amount of weight gain. You will also need to work hard to control your diet.Insomnia may be experienced for a short while after stopping Phentermine. While you are sleeping more during the day you will likely sleep less at night. Depression is said to cause insomnia as well. The chemicals in your brain readjusting and leveling out could cause one or both, or if your lucky neither!Your mood could be flat, or you may feel down because your brain is adjusting to the lack of Phentermine and because of the fatigue you are experiencing. Lack of energy, and Phentermine is a stimulant, will typically make anyone not feel as happy go lucky.I believe you will be feeling better everyday. Drink a lot of water! The first week will likely be the worst. You should be feeling back to normal again, withdrawal symptom free within 2 weeks to a month in my non-medical opinion.I hope that helps and I wish you the best of luck!
