How many episodes could I fit on a DVD?

well there is only one way to find out, look at the size DVD you're using and look at the size of each episode.
If you're using a 4.7GB DVD and each episode is around 400MB then you'll be able to fit just about 11 episode to each DVD.
so check the file and DVD size for your answer.

How many episodes can fit in a 4.7GB disc?

'm trying to convert and burn a drama tv series to a disc so I can watch it on tv.

The format of the anime is AVI.

The drama is 348MB per episode and there are 18 episodes with 40 minutes each.

I use a Philips DVD player that can play Divx and can be able to use USB drive.

I use a DVD-R/4.7 GB/120 MIN/1X-8X Multi Speed empty disc to burn them.

1) The episodes will exceed the original space of the disc or leave too much space after I burn them.
2) The quality would be bad if I put too many episodes.
3) The duration/time would exceed the original time of the disc [120 MIN?].

PS: To those who keep recommending DVD burners, you can recommend but please answer my question. HOW MANY EPISODE CAN FIT IN A 4.7GB DISC? :D Thankyou in advance. :)

How do I put multiple tv episodes on one DVD?

Standard DVD players read the .Vob format, the files you have now are in AVI format..

I would recommend you download ConvertXtoDVD. Ive been using it, it works just great.

It will automatically convert to DVD format, readable by all standard dvd players, it will then burn automatically to DVD...

it is easy to use, fast and it works perfect for me.. give it a try, you'll love it

1. Download ConvertXtoDVD here:
http://convertxtodvd.burner-software.com

It can convert any video file.. like wmv, mkv, mp4, avi to dvd

2. Add or drag-n-drop as many video files as the DVD can handle

3. Insert blank DVD

4. Click "Convert"

5. Enjoy watching those video files on your home DVD player! =)

It has many other nice features too, for example;
you can create your own DVD menu, and add subtitles

How many episodes can i fit on a 4.7 GB DVD?

If you have a standalone DVD recorder, it is just like the old VCR, it usually offers 3 recording options.
2 hours - 4 hours - 6 or 8 hours. The longer the record time the less quality, more picture compression. The 120 minutes on a DVD is 2 hours at High Quality. The same DVD will record longer at less quality.

Most people can use the 6 / 8 hour record option with good picture quality.

Go into the menu and set the record time / quality, Some DVD companies even use the old VCR recording designations of SP, LP, EP.

How can I burn multiple VOB files to a DVD?

I downloaded a movie that had multiple VOB files, as well as BUP and IFO files. I am assuming that all of this can be burned back into a full DVD with a menu and scene selection (that's what the thumbnails of the files show me, anyway). I want to burn a DVD but am confused as to how, or even what program to use.

I Need To Burn the Whole DBZ Season 1 (Vegeta Saga) to a DVD Disc?

i'm leaving town for vacation in a while, so to always have something to do, i'll watch DBZ on my PS2.
anyway i downloaded the whole vegeta saga (39 EPs) and it was only 1,89 GB before i converted it to DVD format (they were .MKV files), now the converted DVD .VOB files are 25 GB and i can't burn that much to a DVD Disc, each one is approx. 1GB!
there are only 27 .VOB files from 39 episodes. i don't know how but probably some .VOBs are 30 minutes long, some are 40, some are 10 and so on... so i want to burn them to a disk (maximum 3 disks) so can anyone help me decrease the size of the DVD .VOBs? i don't care that much about the quality, as long as it's not too horrible.
