Most ridiculous metalcore/post hardcore band name?
I think it's common knowledge that metalcore, deathcore, and post-hardcore bands have some pretty retarded band names - "Webutterthrebreadwithbutter", "iWrestledabearonce", "The Devil Wears Prada", "Bullet For My Valentine", "All That Remains", "A Skylit Drive", "My Chemical Romance", "August Burns Red", "Miss May I", etc... I'm convinced that they've all simply taken a few words from a book and used it as their band name. I'm also convinced that it is impossible for them to come up with a band name that uses less than three syllables. Not only does their music sound the same, and not only do they sound exactly alike, but 70% of their band names are three words long...
What are some good bands that I can listen to?
I would recommended Panic! At the disco. A new genre every album.Their first album, A fever you can’t sweat out is very sarcastic, cynical and formated like a radio station.But if thats not your thing we have the second album Pretty. Odd. Beatle style full of summer time and metaphors.Then theres the third album Vices & Virtues. Impossible to put in a genre but amazing all the same with mixes of honest romance songs like Sarah Smiles or Always and more pumped up songs like Lets kill tonight(not about murder) or the ballad of mona lisa(not a ballad, more likely about murder)Still not to your taste? Their fourth album romance, cheating, hope, betrayal and Las Vegas. That pretty much sums it up.No? 5th album, award winning, number one in the 200 billboard chats beating both Adele and Bowie. Grammy nominated etc etc. Death of a Bachelor. Frank Sinatra, party, love, loss. You name it its there. Every song has another meaning. Don’t trust the music videos. First song and last long belong to different eras. Have a listen. Have fun.
