I was not only speechless, but my legs and arms were like jello. I had to learn how to talk again, and I had to learn how to walk again! My equilibrium was off, I had to learn how to balance myself, and it was so very exhausting, When I was released I went home with my two best friends, we lived upstairs! It took me about 30 minutes to be able to get up them steps. Once I got up there my entire body was so sore that I was bed ridden for almost two weeks. TRUE STORY, Now my voice after 3 years, is not the same! I can no longer sing karaoke, and that upsets me. My equilibrium is not up to par, but I’m able to walk without falling down. My mental state, meaning my brain! It has been damaged, I achieved my associates degree in substance abuse counseling back in 2013, I had no problems with my memory, or comprehending the courses given to me. My GPA was 3.7. Then in the beginning of 2017, I decided to go after my Bachelors in degree in Chemical Dependency, Addictions, and Substance Abuse Counseling.
