Can I Get A Smaller Width On My Foot

Can I make my feet smaller?

I have size 9.5 wide width feet. I’ve been told I have islander feet, though I’m not sure what that means. Anyways, I’m self conscious about them and was wondering if anything could be done about them?

How can I make my feet smaller?

I know what you mean. I am a size 12-13. I am 28 years old and I been a size 12 since nine grade. I am an average size woman, chubby but not fat. I actually lost 50 pounds 2 years ago and I am still a size 12-13 I used to get really frustrated like you but I just got over it. I just go to payless when I can. They sell size 12 there. I also go on Wednesdays and Fridays because that's when they bring new shoes, at least where I live. You can also go to the expensive shoes boutiques and try a few brands. Once you figure out which ones are comfortable try searching for them online which tend to be cheaper. You can also buy them slightly used online. There's an old Chinese method to shrink the feet BUT it will deform them. A doctor once told me that your feet grow depending on what your body needs to be able to balance and walk property. New study shows that woman shoes size will be different in a few years. Woman are getting bigger (bone wise) So the fashion industry might start adding shoes for the over size feet like mine. About people who are ignoring your questions, I been using yahoo answers since 2007 and I had to delete a lot of my questions because people don't answer them so it is not personal. Good Luck!

Do our feet get smaller as we get older?

I went to my Redwing shoe store yesterday. To buy new shoes. I buy a pair every 1-2 years. The lady has my shoe size on file, since 1986. She said that EVERYONE, the older they get, the smaller their feet get. Do you think this is true?

I have been weightlifting for 22 years. My shoe size went from a size 11, medium width, to yesterday - size 13, widest width they sold!! She said I am the ONLY customer they have that, every time I come in, I need a bigger size shoe. Not complaining, mind you. Just though what she said about feet getting smaller was an interesting statement. Never heard it before.

Should you wear shoes that are bigger or smaller?

I need 11.5. My only options are 11 or 12. The 11 fits exactly to my foot. No wiggle room. The 12 has a big space in the toe but fits good in the width. I'm an adult so my feet are not growing. I was thinking to get the smaller size and break the shoes in rather than deal with a gap in the front of the bigger size. Suggestions

When you loose weight do your feet get smaller?

The only thing that will get smaller is the amount of meat on our foot. You can lose weight on it just like you can your legs or any other part of your body. LOsing weight is not going to make the go from a size 8 to a 6, or any other size. We cannot change our bone structure. The only way to change their size is to cut off bone, or CONSTANTLY wear smaller shoes and over the years, they will fit the shoes, but they will look ugly. Check out this site...
