Can I Get In Trouble For Breaking Someone Out Of Jail

Can you get in trouble in you break someones arm when fighting?

I haven't gotten into too many fights because I usually just walk away from those little "golden" moments. When I have gotten into fights I broke some guy's arm and didn't hesitate once because he was trying to mug me. That was the most serious, other times I just took the guy down to the floor and held him down.

The first thing that happen after I broke the guy's arm was the cops took both of us under custody. He questioned us both and I had to defend myself in court and since there was sufficient evidence and I had a witness actually see him trying to mug me. I got off and he got in trouble. Without all the evidence or the witness I imagine I would have gotten in trouble for assault. I can't imagine the law to say you were right for your actions because the guy could say you assaulted him.

You know what i have realized through BJJ and my brief Kung fu career? The higher the rank you are the less you fight because you understand so much more and you will fight less because you learn that the best defense is to diffuse the situation before you have to actually defend yourself.

Think of all the martial artists and fighters who have been shoved or have been made fun of who just look at the guy like, "Whatever, man," I have been pushed and ridiculed and I took it because I didn't care. I'm not going to say I could be them up or anything like that. You show maturity and intellegence when you diffuse the situation with your words.

Aside from that you must always try to get away from situations that can end up getting very bad because you never know the outcome.

Can you go to jail for breaking someone's arm/finger ?

The states that I have read up on (TX and LA) have escalating punishment for the amount and type of damage done to someone. For just touching someone without their permission (a shove, punch, or wrestling match) is a ticket, if you calm down and respect the cops when they get there. A permanent disfigurement (broken nose), a period of unconsciousness, or a lot of pain will bump up the punishment to an aggravated level of punishment, which is a felony, and no amount of calming down will keep you out of jail, quite possibly for a couple of years. The above answer was the best: Your main concern is trying to distance yourself from the aggressor. The aggressor ALWAYS gets the worst end of the deal (regardless of any horror story told by anyone after me).

Can I get in trouble for picking up someone’s property from jail?

I did two years on the inside and released property to people on the outside a few times. Most jails/prisons have a release form that the inmate or prisoner can sign for you or anyone else to pick up their property. It’s a pretty common procedure. But without the inmate releasing his/her property to you per procedure then your not going to get it. And if you do somehow get it without the proper forms signed then yes you could possibly get into trouble.Get the inmate to fill out the proper form and you will be able to get it no problem.

If I broke someones nose can I go to jail?

Yes. Unless you can prove that you were provoked and had no other choice but to defend yourself. Being a felon won't help your credibility especially if you have other assault and battery charges on your record.
Maybe I am wrong but, it almost sounds as if you are bragging just a bit about beating the ***** out of someone.

Is breaking someone's nose felony charge?

well it is usually a misdemeanor assault- however if your male and the nose was female, this is domestic assault a class c felony

If someone breaks out of jail and proves their innocence of the crime that put them there, do they get in trouble for breaking out of jail?

Guess that would depend on the where and how it was done. Most such cases give the now innocent person nothing more than a slap on the hand. The belief that an innocent should wallow in prison, until some sort of proof is found, here goes, that person knows he is innocent, and like any other POW, has a duty to try to deal with such. Now, with DNA evidence freeing over 300 inmates, because the physical evidence proved them innocent of their crimes—many on death row, or serving life without—leaves me with a bad taste in my mouth. For execution is the only punishment that cannot be reversed. And the numbers, while small, show that our justice system is not perfect, and that it is probable that at some point, we have executed truly innocents.

How long do you go to jail for assault (breaking someones nose)?

They might pull down 5 years - but mostly the county will screw up the case and they'll walk away free. That's generally how it goes. The cops would rather be eating doughnuts.

If I broke up with someone can I go to jail if they kill themselves?

No, you would not be held accountable. The threat sounds more like a manipulative threat. Just for sake of argument, let's pretend that he is serious and went ahead and did commit suicide. He was suicidal long before he ever met you online. You are not responsible for breaking up with someone who then commits suicide.

Is there a way to find out online if someone is in jail?

A very good site to visit is backgroundtool.com Its both public and private information. It goes beyond what one source can do for you or what search engines can give you. You'll have access to public record information, social networking summary, a general internet lookup, court public records, criminal history records, cell phone data (both general public and privately owned directories ), driving information and much more.Is there a way to find out online if someone is in jail?Finding an ArresteeIf someone has been arrested, it may be more difficult to track them down. Frequently, police stations and local courthouses utilize county jails to house arrestees that are pending arraignment and bond/bail hearings. Usually, to find out if someone has been arrested will require a call to the police department that made the arrest, or sheriff department in charge of housing pretrial detainees. However, doing an online search for your specific location could be rather useful as some cities, such as New York City, provide services to find a recent arrestee. For Local Jails and State PrisonsFor local jails and state prisons, you can rely on VINELink.
