Can I Get Jobs Instantly After Achieving Cpl

Do students from India get jobs in USA right after completing an M.A. program in the USA?

Jobs for the students are based on the talent. If students have good marks and no talent, there is no use of it. If the student has average marks and good talent, he or she is the bright student for achieving a job. This is the actual thing happens around us every day. So, the student from India gets the job if he has the talent as required by the company offering job. Marks of the student or degree of the student are only a tool to get an interview call, achieving a job is only base on the talent.

What can I do after CPL to get a job?

Getting a job as as airline pilot is the hardest thing to do after completing your training. For each airline, there are at least 20 (or more) other pilots that are qualified to get the job.The majority of flight schools offer training only up to 200 hours. After that, you're on your own to build hours, hours that you'll need to present as proof of experience, to an airline that you want a job with.Major airlines like Emirates, Etihad, Delta, and American only hire pilots that have up to 2000 or more flying hours. If you want to be able to land a job with them, you have two options:Get a job with a regional or minor airline: Airlines like Aeromexico, GoAir, CityJet, JetBlue, etc, hire pilots with less than 1000 hours, some will even hire you if you've got at least 180 hours (which is less than what you've already achieved with a flight school!). Keep in the mind that you're joining them to build hours. Once you fly for them for a year or two, and get those 2000/3000 hours, you can easily land jobs with bigger airlines. The pay is low for regional airline pilots, so don't expect it to be all glamorous.Work other jobs to build hours: You could work on your IFR rating and begin to work as a CFI, using money that you get from that job to rent aircraft to log hours. You could also fly Banner Planes, or Tourism planes (Seaplanes or something similar) to build hours. Once again, the pay isn't that great but as long as you're getting those hours, you should be fine. It'll take you up to two years or more, depending upon the intensity and frequency of your flying sessions, but it'll be worth it. As I said, it's not really easy when you're fresh out of a flight school, but when you've got the experience, you can easily land jobs with major airlines.Note: You've got to work on your ATPL before trying to get a job with any airline, regional or major.

Chances of becoming an airline pilot?

I've just answered a very similar question but my first response is you're only 15, you really have plenty of time to become an Airline Pilot, trust me, I'm double your age! You may even change your mind.

First thing to do is go to your local flight school / Airport and have that trial lesson, see if you really enjoy it, see if it's actually what you want to do. Then you need to think how far do I want to take this? Airline Pilot, Commercial Pilot (technically the same thing) or Private Pilot.

That's when how you do it becomes the holy grail. My advice is look at 2 companies called CTC Aviation and Oxford Aviation, if you go on there integrated routes then they will get you into a right hand seat of a jet after alot of hard work and training.

To be an Airline Pilot takes alot of things but its not actually all related to ability, just some of things you need are.

Aptitude
Maths
Physics
Empathy
Understanding friends
Solid family
Motivation
Self belief
Drive
MONEY!

These are just some of the qualities and the list is not exhaustive, from the look of your grades you're certainly on the right track regarding academic qualifications but the best thing is to go do that flight.

A good website is called pprune, all Pilots use it and know about it, some advice is rubbish but some is ace, post on there and also have a good read, it has all the information you will ever need.

The best thing though at 15 is not worry, you have plenty of time, but take a trip to your local club and go for that flight, ask about getting your PPL and the various routes into a Jet, there's not one way and the way one person did it, is not necessarily the best way for someone else.

Best of luck and hope that helped!

How many years to become a Sergeant or staff Sergeant if i join the army like a specialist?

No you can't enter as a Corporal. Corporals have to have gone through the same promotion process as a SGT. You have to go before a board and get recommended for SGT, but not be able to make points to be a DA Corporal. You may never see Corporal at all in fact. It is a lateral rank and not a mandatory one. You will have to do at least 2 years before you become eligible for the promotion board for SGT, and another two years after that for SSG if you get promoted first time.

Edit: MajGross you are incorrect about the promotion to CPL. To be a Department of the Army Cpl and not a company CPL which is what he would have to be to come in as a CPL, he would HAVE to attended a Sgts Promotion board and been recommended for promotion. Company CPLs are still around but are basically pointless as they are SPC that are given stripes by that unit because they hold a leadership position, but if they move units they have to revert back to SPC. DA CPLs do not revert.

How do I fund my CPL training as well as 'type rating' and secure a good job in a good airline and achieve my dream of becoming a pilot?

Airlines like Emirates and Ethiad run cadet pilot program of their own which is sponsored by them. Means we don't have to pay anything. But the bad part is that it is only for UAE citizens. Currently there are no cadet pilot program running which is free of cost. Now let's come on the way that you can adopt to be a pilot.1. DGCA scholarship- If your annual income of parents is not more than 1 lakh(except ST,they have limit of 2 lakh) than you can apply for this. 20 persons selected per year and government will pay your expenses in institute like IGRUA,NFTI or any other government institute. 2. Air force- If u have specs than also you can join air force flying branch for transport or helicopter stream.(check their rules). If You dont havr specs than fighter stream is also open for you. Serve IAF for minimum 14 years and after that apply for any airline. You will have enough hours to get an job easily. If u have any problems than ask here. Happy to help.  :)
