My dad just got arrested.?
My parents have been mad at eachother for a week. Today my dad came back from work and demanded to talk to my mom. I stepped out of the room but heard a slap and saw my dad on top of my mom. He slapped her and pulled her hair hard. I called the police and they arrested him on a 10,000 Fine. We have no money. We can't pay it . My dad is an illegal immigrant my mom told the police officer she wasn't placing charges on him..what's going to happen? Is he getting deported? Will we have to go to court even though she doesn't want to charge him? Did I do the right thing? I feel so guilty for breaking our family apart.

He's threatening and speaks violently (shouting and spitting) all the time. My Mum's ill and the stress is killing her, my Mum is not my sisters birth mum and my Dad has full custardy of her, she can't just divorce him because he will take my sister, I don't want her to go into care. There's always a chance he's going to lash out, he's hit me and thrown glass and china at me a number of times. Before my Mum divorced him the first time, before my sister was born, he used to throw plates at her, was incredibly violent a lot of the time, and even after he was thrown out, forced his was back into our house and held a lighter to the curtain whilst me and my Mum and Brother were stuck crying at the other end of the room. He said he was going to burn the house down if she wouldn't take him back, or let us go with him, which we never wanted to he just wanted to hurt my Mum.i can't really remember much, I was six the last time we saw him. I was 11 when they remarried, my sister now involved to, if he thought us, or the neighbours had called the police he'd hurt us, and we'd have to go to court to get him locked up so we could be safe for a while. I need to get rid of my Dad without getting my sister put into care, or stressing my Mum out to much. Thank you.

So is frequently aggressive and all I said was that I didn't want to deal with him and he said "do you want me to give you a bloody nose" and something along the lines of he will hit me. I'm 18 and want him to know I'm not putting up with this anymore. He has made numerous threats like this before and I have nowhere to go if the police make me leave. I was not in any way aggressive with him so I want to know if they can arrest him or make him leave even tho its its his house? Ok so I got a few answers saying I'm not totally innocent, I left out the part it was over his pot addiction and he was trying to spent more money in it. And no he does not have a card. Apparently in California anything under an ounce is a fine, he gets aggressive when he is out if pot and takes it out on my family. And I have nowhere to go, I got laid off because the store I was working at shut down.

Franky, as a minor you should not telling the nanny (an adult) what she can and not tell your sister to do. You do not have authority to do that. Your parents haven't granted it unless she is telling the princess to do something that will hurt her. Then you tell the princess not the nanny no and yell for your mom. Your mom needs the nanny. She does not want the woman to quit so she is going to side with her. You did a Franky in front of the nanny so of course your mother is going to get embarrassed and leave because she does not like you doing that and is not able to make you stop the abuse. Dad is mad because he does not want to hear it, nor lose the nanny. At 16, he is running out of options and he knows physical force works with you. He was dead wrong to twist your arm. That is his wife so he cares how you treat her. She was dead on with what she said to you , Franky. And this was all over what- the princess stuffing her face with cake. It will be worse if the nanny quits, Trust me on that. Kevin Mullins- Kevin used get into into with cleaning women his mother hired because he didn't want them in his rec room in the basement, because he had stuff he wasn't suppose to have there. They would quit on his mom, and she went nuts. Then he was banned from the house while they were there. It was tough if he couldn't hang out at his friends for the 4 hours they were there twice a week.

Franky, don't put this on your Mom. She attempted to run an simple errand and one of the twins soiled their diaper. She asked you to watch/ entertain the princess . A five year old is going to try to get to you by calling you names, because it is entertainment especially if she get an reaction out of you. You were in tough place to keep her entertained since you did not have a piece of paper & pen/pencil to play tic tac toe. Or let her draw. When you are on a bench you can play I see something ( a color) and have her guess what it is. Or count the number of people wearing a color. Now you knew if you abandoned her like that your parents especially your Dad would go ape. Franky, until something happens and you will never forgive yourself if something does happen, you won't get why a lost child is a parent's greatest fear. So you need to be prepared - in the baby bag pack a bunch of things you can do with the princess the next time you sit on a bench with her. A pack of cards so you can play war. A little pony or toys she can play with, little notebook of paper she can draw in & a small pencil/pen. Also think about stuff you can do with her like I said. Security didn't do anything, because they wanted to smack you on the side of your head and ask what were you thinking. Franky, no one is going to give your sympathy for what you did. Your Mom thinks she is suppose to be super Mom, and manage the twins, a five year old, and you. She doesn't want your grandma to think she can not handle everything. because grandma managed her flock of ducklings.
