Opening a bank account for a minor?
I am almost 16 and will have a paying job soon. I really want my own bank account, but there's a few things I'm not sure about that I would like to know... First of all, I would like my own bank account so I can deposit and withdrawal money any time I need to. BUT, I also would like to be able to buy/sell stuff online, like on eBay. It would be my own money, my own account. But here's the problem...paypal & ebay require you to be 18 or older to have an account through them to do that...and I do not want to use my Moms account, for she would help herself to my money any time she pleased, and wouldn't be comfortable with me using her account to order anything online. Is there any way I could work around this? Would there be any way my grandmother, or step father, could open ME an account but it be in their control? (giving them the authority to choose when I can use it, however an account for a minor works) Would this account be in their name, since its for a minor but they get to choose when it be used? (But it will not be using their own account that they already have) This is hard to explain, but does anyone understand what I'm asking? I don't want to use anyone elses already existing accounts, but I need an account that I can also use through paypal to shop online...which would have to also be in the name of someone over 18 in order to have a paypal account...(i will be sure to get parental permission!) but i just don't want to use any of their existing accounts. I want it to be my own, in a way. somebody help me out on this? is this possible? is there a better way to put this, if it exists? Thanks!
I used my parents credit card on mistake?....?
Tell your parents immediately what has happened. Better that they know what you have done so they don't deny the charge. If you try to avoid this it will make you look dishonest. Everyone makes mistakes. It is better if you own up quickly.
Using a debit card under your parents name?
Hello recently i started my own ebay/paypal account (under my dads checking account I am only 14) and I have been selling for about 6 months so i was able for a paypal debit card that allows me to spend only the amount of money i make off of ebay. I haven't used the debit card outside of the internet yet until tonight when i had to sign a receipt without my father being there and his name was printed at the bottom and i didn't know what to do so i forged his signature (since his name is also on the card). Do i have to continue to do this since his name is on the card or can i sign my name on the receipt instead?

Is there a way to buy on Ebay without parents knowing?
I'm pretty sure you need a credit card in order to buy something off Ebay but you can always pay for things through PayPal money orders or cash in the mail. It should be on eBay though, the sender will usually say how they prefer you to pay.
Can I get a debit card? (I'm 15)?
I have a friend who is 15 (just like me) and she orders stuff on ebay and chargers it on a card (I presume a debit card but I'm not sure). I want to have a debit card to do this and also, could I put money on my card? (Like cash onto my card)? My parents are too busy to help me get one so is there a way I could get one without the aid of my parents? (Or just another way to get stuff on ebay)?
How old do you have to be to buy a reloadable visa debit card?
It's not tied to a bank account I saw it at 7/11 you can buy it there and I think theys like a $3 dollar charge a Month if the card has money on it. I bought a visa gift card and they didn't say anything (I'm 15). I need it to add to a paypal account I made (with parent permission to sell on eBay with parent permission). We had this card to use for it but paypal won't accept it and my dad not knowing anything about computers thinks I messed it up and is know giving me the cold shoulder in anything related to paypal and all that. He said I should do whatever I want and in front of me told my mom to not let me borrow her credit card which I was never going to consider. Anyways they won't help so I need to know if I can do it myself. Thanks for answering
