Can I Use Whey Protein If I

How much water should i use for each scoop of whey protein?

Just put a scoop in a regular size cup, fill the cup up (Or fill a cup with 8oz of water/ 1 cup of water) with water then mix. What I always do is after I drink it, I fill the cup up with water again and drink that too to get the little bit of protein left in the cup.

Do sprinters need to use Whey protein?

If I could know the details of it, it would majorly help.

I'm a collegiate long sprinter. I do the 400m Dash. According not only to myself, but to my team, Protein is the way to go.
Which each Protein package that you use, Whether it be Gold Standard, Cellucor, Max, Super Whey, etc. they all work differently. Since they are packed with protein of course it should help rebuild the muscle and keep the soreness away.

Make sure you use them at the desired times that they should be used. I know Cellucor is right after the workout, and the protein takes action within 45 minutes after drinking it. A Majority of whey protein drinks take around 2 hours.

According to your question, As a Track Sprinter you should be in the weight room lifting as well, if you aren't, whether or not, Whey Protein won't hurt you. Just make sure you are watching over your body and making sure it is fueled correctly for your races.

Drink water, stretch a lot, do what your coaches tell you to do, run fast, and win big!
Good luck, hope this helped!

Can I take whey protein twice a day.?

whey protein is a supplement, which means that u take it , for additional protein intake on a daily basis,

you should consume 1lb of protein per every lb of body weight,

which means u should intake about 100-130grams of protein daily, NOW,additionally you must eat a lot of high protein foods, like chicken breast, lean beef, beans, eggs, fish, etc. and then use your whey protein shake to make up the rest of the ptrotein,

so if you are already eating meat and fish adn eggs , then to get that extra protein take a scoop in the morning after breakfast, and 1 soop after your workout, two scoops would get u about 50 grams,of protein, the other 70 grams may come from the FOOD you eat.
NB if u cant eat as much meat , or food, then take 3 scoops, per day

PS, whey protein doesnt damage your liver, its a myth

How to use whey protein to build muscles

You should use whey protein, preferably whey protein isolate, within 15-20 minutes after a workout. Because it's a fast absorbing and fast burning protein it will maximize your recovery and help you build muscle better than another form of protein. To more specifically answer your first question, if you work out twice a day, use it twice a day, if you work out once a day, only use it once a day.

As for your third question, you should be getting 6-8 hours of rest every night. If you meant rest between working specific muscle groups, there are a few different theories. Really, it depends on how good of shape you're in and how good your nutrition is. Absolute, best case scenario, you can work all of your muscle groups once per day. If you're just starting out or if your like the common gym rat, stick to the every other day program. This is what I recommend more often than not.

The most effective way to bulk up muscle mass is to lift 3-5 sets with heavy weight and low reps (5-7 per set). Stay hydrated throughout your workout. Like I mentioned above, take in your whey protein within 15-20 minutes after your workout. And last, to minimize your muscle loss during sleep time, take in approx. 10 grams of casein (milk) protein, as long as your not lactose intolerant, before bed. You can even go a step further and wake up in the middle of your sleep to take in another 10 grams or eat a bowl of oatmeal.

One more thing, use a whey protein isolate mix that is lean; low fat and low carbs. There are a couple of them available that meet this criteria and still taste good. In fact the one that I personally use and recommend all of the time is Nutrilite's Whey Protein Powder. It's hands down the best that I've ever found. It's a bit hard to find so here's a link to the online health store that I get mine from: http://www.keylagohealth.com.
They've been a A+++ company to deal with. Just type "whey" in the search bar. You'll find it.

I hope this helps.
