Hello, So im going to buy a new computer and i wondered if it where able to run gta 5 on high setting with high fps ( No lagg at all) Recommended specifications: for gta 5 Processor: Intel Core i5 3470 @ 3.2GHZ (4 CPUs) / AMD X8 FX-8350 @ 4GHZ (8 CPUs) Memory: 8GB Video Card: NVIDIA GTX 660 2GB / AMD HD7870 2GB Sound Card: 100% DirectX 10 compatible HDD Space: 65GB DVD Drive The computer im thinking about got: Intel Core i5-4690 prosessor 3.5GHz ~ 3.9GHz, 4 cores GeForce GTX 960 2GB GDDR5, PhysX CUDA 1TB harddrive 7200rpm 8GB DDR3 1600MHz, 1x8GB (3 ledige slotts. Supports upto 32GB) DVDRW brenner ASRock H97M Pro4 motherboard 600W ATX power supply ( i translated it from norwegian ) Please reply if i can run gta 5 smooth on this pc when it comes out, with high grapich And how good that computer is :) Im pretty new to desktop pc's. And can it run battlefield 4 smooth aswell ? Depends what you mean by gaming, playing LoL or counterstrike in 720p then yes, playing battlefield or CoD advanced warfare in 1080p30fps minimum then most definitely no. With gaming in mind you never buy a laptop, laptops start throttling after an hour or so of heavy use. To explain better, due to increased heat output from the device components and since a laptop has tiny fans (even a huge fan under it on those expensive stands is not good enough ) the motherboard will decrease the frequency the componets run at to keep them in good condition for longer times or save them from burning out in an instant if you're unlucky. Well I have similar configuration I have Intel i3 8 gigs of ram and Intel HD 5500and I played GTA 5 at 30 fps on low with shadows disabled and i Played gta 4 with shadows disabled pretty good and i played games like sleeping dogs, dragon ball xenoverse , Prototype 2, Mafia II (at medium 720P ),Resident evil 5, counter strike global offensive on medium high and counter strike source, Call of duty modern warfare 2 and black ops, Call of Juarez blood in bound, and they all ran pretty well. And i had i3 and you have i5 these games will run more smoothly on your system.See gameplay on - Mad-Tech-TutorEDIT : Far cry 3(low medium 30+ fps), Devil may cry 5( on high or ultra 30+ fps), Dragon ball xenoverse 2 on low all runs perfectly. :D
