A “photoshopped” photo is 21st century lingo for a photo that was edited using Adobe Photoshop or a similar image editor.Typically it is used by laymen in derogatory fashion, as in “made to look better than it really is”, but most professional photographers and enthusiasts DO use image editing to make the best out of their photos, exactly like anyone serious about writing will use an Editor or at a minimum get the text proofed before publishing his/her book or article, musicians develop their songs etc: we don’t just publish / put out there “stuff” as those spring into existence, we select the best of them, we refine them and then we we put them out there or spend money to print/produce/perform them…not doing so, doesn’t make you “authentic”, just makes you arrogant and careless, as there is almost 100% probability that you are not doing justice to even the best of you ideas / inspiration / knowledge etc.Of course people have used image editing to deceive, and will keep on doing that, but so have pens, typewriters or keyboards been used in almost any type of fraud, but noone really frowns upon using these in everyday life : image editing is just another tool in a creators toolbox. One can choose when and how to use it, the tool itself is not purposely built to deceive or lie.Now, the photo you’ve posted, is just 149 x 90 pixels. It is just too small and too heavily compressed to make out any detail: looks like an underexposed picture of a window? Who knows. Tones are far too crashed into the blacks and there is no information you can retrieve.
