Can someone help me calculate the grade I need to make on my final in order to pass?
1st test (worth 17.5% of grade)- 98.50 A 2nd test (worth 17.5% of grade)- 92 A 3rd test (worth 17.5% of grade)- 79.50 C 4th test (worth 17.5% of grade)- 87 B Final exam (worth 30% of grade)- ??? The first four exams are worth 17.5% of my grade EACH, and the final is worth 30% of my grade. This is why I'm confused on how to calculate it. I don't understand how the percentage it's worth affects my final grade. I need to make at least an 80 in the class to pass. However, I also want to know what I would need to make in order to make a B. Can you show me how you calculate it as well? Thank you. (Grading Scale) A - 92-100 B - 86-91 C - 80-85

Now assuming that your average for the six lessons plus the missing lesson 4 = 77.24% as you posted, then (56 + 83 + 82 + x + 74 + 81 + 85)/7 = 77.24 461 + x = 540.68 x = 79.68% which is the missing lesson 4 score that would give you the 77.24% average Portfolio Assignment Submissions and Exam = 62.42% First Portfolio Assignment Submission Lesson 4 = 83% Second Portfolio Assignment Submission Lesson 8 = 41% Here your average is = (83 + 41)/2 = 124/2 = 62% is very close to the 62.42% that you posted. Did you round off to cause this difference? Final Exam Preparing for the Final Exam = 70% And then you claim they are weighted like this: Speedback Assignments weight (30) my score 35.29% Portfolio Assignment Submissions and Exam (55) 64.7% If the Portfolio Assignment Submissions and Exam each have a weight of 55, then the total weight is 30 + 55 + 55 = 140% If the Portfolio Assignment Submissions and Exam have a total weight of 55, then the total weight for everything is 30 + 55 = 85% The weights need to total 100% before I can solve this. teachers might have different scales they go by for the cut off but a general rule is A= 100-90% B= 90- 80% C= 80- 70% d= 70-60% F= 60- below So yes you would be at a high D right now. If you multiply 1326.35 times .6781 you get 899 points that you have right now out of the total. if you add the total possible points for future assignments to the total possible then multipy that number by .70 you will get the total number of points you have to have by the end of the quarter to get a C.

Hello !first of all want to say that in MAKAUT (Popularly known as WBUT ) there are only three terms used only.1)SGPA = Semester Grade Point Average2)YGPA = Yearly Grade Point Average& The last one is 3)DGPA = Degree Grade Point Averageyou mentiioned in your question CGPA i think that means you asked about DGPA because CGPA which means “Cummulative Grade Point Average”.now let me tell you that in WBUT there is no single formula to get CGPA or DGPA using SGPA, if you want DGPA then you have to calculate it by using YGPA.But in a tricky method you can calculate the YGPA using (YGPA = (SGPA odd + SGPA even)/2 ) this method instead of (Credit Index odd sem + Credit Index even sem)/ (Credits in odd sem + Credits in even sem) .So if you put this formula for the calculation of CGPA or DGPA[{(SGPA 1+SGPA 2)/2} + {(SGPA 3+SGPA 4)/2} + 1.5*{(SGPA 5+SGPA 6)/2} + 1.5*{(SGPA 7+SGPA 8)/2}] / 5 = Your DGPA/CGPA

i had a 3.5 last semester this semester i have 5 classes 1. 93.66 2. 85.86 3. 84.38 4. idk yet: the worst it can be is a B+ 5. idk yet: the worst it can be is a C- can someone calculate this for me? i looked on the internet and couldn't find any consistant info to tell me what letter grade the percentages correspond to. please help? thanks.
Help Please? I think my teacher calculated my grade wrong.?
My school calculates semester grades in my Chemistry class like this... 1st Quarter is 40% of the semester grade...My 1st quarter grade was 66.35% 2ncd quarter is 40%... I got a 40.68% for that. Semester Final Exam 20%... I scored 81% on that. The grade they gave me for the whole semester was a 59.01% Now is that right? I'm not sure and if I get a 60% or more I pass. So I really want to check the math but I could use some help. Is 59% right?
