Is it illegal to fill out a W9 form for someone?
My friend has asked me to fill out a W9 form for one of his friends, whom he got a temp job at the place he works. I've never filled out a W9, but it seems simple enough. I would just basically fill in the info he has provided from his friend. He needs me to email it to him ASAP, so he can send it in. My friend wouldn't set me up or anything, but I am still wondering if me doing this is legal? Thanks. I checked online, couldn't find anything regarding this sittuation.

How can I get my mom and dad to help clean our junk filled house?
My dad was a bit of a pack rat himself, but we lived in apartments, so it never got so excessive we could not move or walk. Occasionally, when he was out and about, I would take a few items and walk down the street a block or two and toss them in a dumpster. Do not throw whatever out in or near your own house, chances are, your parents will go and retrieve whatever you just threw away from your or your neighbors trashcan. My dad has done this. Maybe suggest donating or recycling items. If your parents hoard, they may have a hard time throwing items out. I also have a friend whose mother is a doctor and a hoarder, but she loves to go bananas buying new stuff she will never use at Costco. I used to help him load his truck with old clothes to take to Salvation Army or DAV. My friends mom also liked to buy tons of cleaning items she did not use. She never cleaned, but her son did! He used to have a code word for my sister and I to help him rid him of all the chemicals, bodywashes, shampoos, dishwashing soap packets, Swiffers, and vacuums! He would call my sister and I and say let's “go shopping”. Translation: You two get over here ASAP with empty backpacks and bags and fill your cars up now, my mom is going out. We would, but he told us to put everything in the storage unit I had and paid for, his mom would come to our house looking for the stuff he gave us, she wanted everything back. True hoarder. I do not visit him as much anymore, but I am pretty sure his mom still goes bonkers spending at Costco.

fafsa.com is charging you a service for something you can do for free elsewhere. They do file your FAFSA if you pay the money, so it's not a scam because you're getting what you're paying for. But, it is considered by most people as a scam because it does a very good job as posing as the official site and nowhere does it direct you to the official government site. Technically, they are charging you to "help" you fill out the FAFSA. The good news is, if you didn't pay the money nothing will happen. Just don't go back to that website or delete your account. fafsa.com doesn't sell your information or anything like that. Just go to the official site http://www.fafsa.ed.gov and fill it out again.
