Can Someone Help Me With My Geometry Homework

Can you help me with my Geometry homework?

I need an answer for a sequence by using inductive reasoning.

The sequence is: George, Thomas, Abe, Alexander...

I also need help with another one.

The sequence is: Martha, Abagail, Martha, Dolley...

Please help.

Can someone help me on my geometry homework?

(Wherever there is an = sign it means "congruent")

1) Angle ABF = Angle DEC

Proof: Given

2) ACDF is a parallelogram

Proof: Given

3) Line AF = Line CD

Proof: If a parallelogram then opposite sides congruent (SIDE)

4) Angle FAB = Angle CDE

Proof: If a parallelogram then opposite angles congruent (SIDE)

5) Angle AFB = Angle DCE

Proof: No Choice Theorem (If two angles of one triangle are congruent to two angles of a second triangle, then the third angles are congruent) -- (ANGLE)

6) Triangle AFB = Triangle CDE

Proof: Angle Side Angle (ASA)

7) Line AB = Line DE

Proof: CPCTC

Can someone please help me with my geometry homework?

I don't understand how to do this problem.

Suppose you receive a raise at work. you can calculate your percent increase by using the pay raise formula c(r+1)=n, where c is your current wage (in dollars per hour), r is your percent increase (as a decimal), and n is your new wage (in dollars per hour).
Solve the formula for r and write a reason for each step.

I appreciate it. thank you sooo much!

Can you help me with my Geometry homework please?!?

I need help with these 2 multiple choice questions:

1.Find a counter-example to show that the conjecture is false.
Conjecture: Any number that is divisible by 4 is also divisible by 8
a. 12
b. 40
c. 26
d. 24

2. Find a counter-example to show that the conjecture is false.
Conjecture: Any number that is divisible by 3 is also divisible by 6
a. 21
b. 12
c. 18
d. 24

Help? or the answer?

Help:
For a square:
Perimeter = 4s
Area = s²
If the perimeter is 72 inches, you would need to find out what only one side is. Since a square is a equal quadrangle. You can divide the Perimeter by four to find the length of a side (s)
Once you have the side length, plug the value in for the area.

Answer:
Perimeter = 72in
72in/4 = s
s² = Area
s=18in
18in² = Area

I need help with my Geometry homework? Constructing perpendicular and angle bisectors...?

_______________________________

Rather than trying to talk you through
constructing the triangles with the bisectors,
which would be quite difficult to do, let me
talk you through how to construct an angle
bisector and a perpendicular bisector.

Angle Bisector
1) Construct angle ABC with vertex B.

2) With your compass on point B, strike an
arc across both rays of the angle. Label
the points of intersection D and E.

3) With you compass on point D, strike an
arc between rays BA and BC and furthest
away from B. Now, without changing your
compass setting, do the same from
point E. Label the point where the two arcs
intersect point F.

4) Construct line segment BF.
BF is the angle bisector of angle ABC.
________________________________
Perpendicular Bisector of a line segment
1) Horizontally, construct line segment AB.

2) With your compass on point A, strike an
arc above and below, roughly, the midpoint
of AB. Now, without changing your compass
setting, do the same from point B.

3) Label the points of intersection C and D.
Construct the line segment CD.
CD is the perpendicular bisector of line
segment AB.

There's what you need to construct the bisectors
for the triangles.
Now, for your other questions:
1) The perpendicular bisector of a side of a
triangle is (sometimes) the angle bisector.

2) The angle bisectors of a scalene triangle (always)
intersect at a single point. I believe this is correct.
But, I'm not 100% sure.

3) The angle bisectors of a right triangle (always)
intersect inside the triangle.

4) The perpendicular bisectors of the sides of a right
triangle always intersect at the midpoint of the
hypotenuse. Question for you: Is that considered inside
the triangle?

Hope that helped.

Can you help me with my Geometry (Angles) homework please?

Which statement is true?

A. B. C. D.
Here is the link to see the angles:

I am unsure which angles are which. Any help would be great ^__^
