Ok, I need some help translating quotes to french. Help please (:?

It's hard to translate some quotes but it should be something like that :

Can someone help translate these french to english please..?

comme elle et drole! = how funny (droll) she is!

elle a l'air d'une princesse, cette petite = she has the air of a princess, this small one.

How much does it cost to translate a book?

I’ll assume here that 1. your budget is limited and 2. you are looking for a high-quality translation for the book you spent so much time perfecting. My first advice would be to work directly with a freelance translator, for the following reasons:You avoid agency fees, which means 100% of the money you invest actually goes to the one who translates your bookTransparency: you know exactly who is working on your book’s translation. It also eases the communication, as there is no middlemanThe second thing is that you will want to work with a professional, experienced translator. A bad translation will only damage your reputation. Don’t waste your money on an amateur because they’re the cheapest in town. With this in mind, good literary translators can charge anywhere in the $0.1-$0.2/word range. Anything significantly cheaper would be highly suspicious. You can always try to negotiate a bit, of course, but you should be prepared for that sort of price.I’m a freelance French translator myself (https://www.at-it-translator.com) and can either translate for you or recommend a colleague for other languages.

Someone who speaks French!?

It's the same

Il n'ya pas de mots pour le décrire

En français ou en anglais

Diamants ils se fanent

Fleurs ils fleurissent

Je vous le dis

Ces sentiments ne vont pas disparaître

What is the best French to English translation service?

The truth is that I don't know which one is best. It all depends on your needs and project specifications. But I can recommend a fairly rigorous method for how to determine what the best service is. When evaluating agencies, put these considerations at the forefrontConfidentiality: Does your vendor have adequate mechanisms in place to ensure that privileged or confidential information does not end up in the wrong hands as a result of the professional translation process?Workflow: Does the agency have a structured and recognized workflow in place to ensure quality and predictability of outcome? Does the agency utilize a proofreader specialized in the discipline in question?Complaints management: Does the language service provider have streamlined methods for handling and responding to complaints regarding the quality, consistency and accuracy of the translation product? An ad hoc method is not This needs to be contractually established, and the procedure must have a track record of bringing about quality and satisfaction.Language variant: Your translator or agency must provide a translation whose linguistic usage reflects the terminology used in your country. There must be processes in place to ensure that the work you are getting was produced by a native of the country (US, UK, South Africa, etc.) of the translation’s intended target audience. If your car manual for US drivers discusses the features of the car’s bonnet and boot, you’ve got a problem.Communication and feedback: A quality agency or independent professional will provide mechanisms for incorporating you, the client, into the professional translation workflow. This way you can specify or alter terminology on an ad hoc basis, or even check up on the project in real time as it is coming along, providing any feedback you see fit to submit. For French translation in particular, you may want to check out Frenchtranslation.org. The site provides leads on a number of agencies, and expands on the criteria listed above with respect to the French translation segment.

English to french translation - albert camus 'the stranger'?

Text of "L'Etranger" online:
http://www.scribd.com/doc/7239352/LEtran...

I managed to track down the original passage:

"...je m'ouvrais pour la première fois à la tendre indifférence du monde."

Even if you got the best translator in the world, you wouldn't get back to the original french from the english. Things always change on translation. In this case, "for the first time" was dropped in your English quote, and "tendre" got rendered as "gentle". Also, English loses the distinction between imperfect (the original) and passé composé (which I guess Google Translate was trying incorrectly to render for you).
