I forgot to print a ticket off Fandango. How can I still get in to see my movie?
This is no problem at all. I don't even own a printer anymore but I regularly use Fandango to purchase tickets. Simply take the credit card you bought the ticket(s) with to the theater and either present it at the counter (while explaining that you're just picking up pre-purchased tix) or swipe it at the kiosk. I prefer to pick up my tickets at the automated kiosk, which is usually a shorter line. The first question at the kiosk is usually asking whether you're there to purchase or pick up tickets. Choose the "pick up" option, follow the directions, swipe the same credit card and wait for the tickets to print. Enjoy!

For most movies, you can typically purchase tickets anywhere from 1-10 days in advance. Movie theaters usually update their showtimes on Monday-Thursday for the upcoming Friday-Thursday (excluding major holidays and Wednesday releases, these are usually slightly different). So as long as they have their showtimes posted, you can most always purchase directly from the theater in advance.In addition, in sites like Fandango and Movietickets.com, you can purchase in advance as well (one of their major value adds). Usually, there's a slight delay from when theaters post their showtimes to when they show up available for purchase on these websites.My company, Dealflicks, also sells movie tickets (we're now partnered with 230+ locations, which is now I've learned about showtimes and purchasing in advance :) We'll usually follow the same principles as Fandango and Movietickets.com mentioned above.Once in awhile, there'll be a major release (The Dark Knight Rises, etc.), and theaters will post their showtimes months in advance for opening weekend. In these cases, you could purchase tickets way in advance from the theater directly or from one of the online ticketing websites mentioned above.
