Can You Drop Out Of High School And Three Weeks Later Attend A High School Online Will You Still

What happens if you drop out of high school?

I mean I dont want to, so i dont need you to advise me against it, its just circumstances might make it necessary. I mean if things go like i think they will I am going to have to earn enough to support myself, so i dont know if ill be able to go back to school in the fall.

so my question is, I am sure that level of education will deter from me getting good jobs in the future so is there any way of me making up for it? I know i could take a GED but is the considered the same? would i be able to get into a college with that?
Is there a way i could finish high school at night or something
and if i dont will it severely limit job possibilities?

Thanks...

Dropout of high school, freshmen?

Thats adorable. But in the real world, you have to work for your dreams. Skateboard videographer? That would be a hobby, maybe a side job. That isn't something you could live off of. Go to school, and figure out a job that's actually going to support you. Your a freshmen. You might want to be a "videographer" now, but in 3 years you'll probably change your mind. If you drop out your shutting tons of doors on your life and setting yourself up to fail. I'm in 3 sports, I have 2 jobs, and I get all A's and B's and I'm fine. If your stressed there's this fantastic new thing called 'weed'. Go smoke it. But if your mind is made up go ahead, drop out. Work a crappy job for the rest of your life. Have fun you ******* idiot.

If I drop out of school will I still get my survivor benefits from Social Security?

You will be entitled to monthly survivor benefits until you are age 18 even if you don't attend school. Benefits only continue beyond age 18 if you are a full-time high school student until you graduate or attain age 19 and two months - whichever comes first.

Don't be stupid and drop out of school. You won't be able to earn more than the minimum wage in menial, go nowhere, unrewarding type of jobs. You will be what is called "the working poor" and you'll probably eventually end up with children you can ill afford to support. Can't rely on husbands nor can you rely on any income from fathers of illegitimate children. Heck you can't even rely on fathers of their legitimate children..

Here are some statistics about education, work and earnings which was in Time magazine in October, 2011 -

2010 Unemployment Rates:
14.9% less than high school grad
10.3% high school grad
7% associate's degree
4.7% bachelor degree.

Median annual earnings for people 25 & older in 2010 (median means that half the people earn more than the amount and half earn less than the amount - it is similar to average annual earnings but it isn't the same thing) -

$32,552 High School Grad
$39,884 Assoc Degree
$53,976 Bachelor's Degree

These amounts are BEFORE taxes and health insurance premiums are deducted from your paycheck. Without a high school diploma you probably won't be able to get a job with health insurance coverage. Actually, without a high school diploma you won't get much out of life. The brain is still developing until about age 25 and your decision to drop out of school shows extremely poor judgment.

Is it possible to get back into high school after dropping out?

In America many h.s. will not take you after 18. However there are many alternative schools that will take you up to 21 if you only need a couple more credits.

How different is a GED from a high school diploma? Is a GED inferior for getting to college?

A GED is technically equivalent to a high school diploma. The GED actually started 70 years ago and was given to military service men who were returning from the war. It gave them the chance to earn a high school credential and have the opportunity to get a college degree or find a better job.Fast forward to 2017, I think what’s important here are your reasons for taking the GED. If you’re apply to a university or a job, you might get asked why you took the GED instead of completing high school. The important part here is to frame your answers positively. Show your focus and determination to earn a college degree or get a better job, despite of what you have been through. If you decide to the GED, aim for getting a GED® College Ready: 165 – 174 or GED® College Ready + Credit: 175 – 200 score. If you decide to take the test, get to know the GED test coverage and focus on your weak areas. Take GED practice tests as well as online classes. This will increase your chance of passing all the four subjects covered by the GED test. You can also join a GED study community to connect and get support from educators and other test-takers.

Is it possible to get my High school diploma at 19? Will a high school even let me in at 19?

I'm 19 years old, and had a really rough time in high school. I moved around 14 times in a 4 year period and never could stay at the same school. After 10th grade I quit public school and tried a Home school which also couldn't work. Online schools just scammed me, so I just gave up. I'm now 19 and am regretting the give-up, is their any way I can still get a high school diploma and not the G.E.D? PLEASE HELP ME! Much thanks.

Can I do regular public school and online courses at the same time?

I'm seventeen and a ninth grader. I'm already two years behind and there is a possibility I could fail again. I mostly just need to catch up on my credits to graduate on time, so I was wondering if I could attend regular high school and take some courses online to catch up? Is that possible? I know that i want to graduate next year or the January after, and if I cant I might as well drop out because I realllllly hate school! It is not an environment that I do well in. I have made nothing but bad grades my whole life and have gone to summer school for every year since before I can remember. I want it to stop, so help please? wat are my options? please no mean comments.
