Help with Math story problem?

A sotre sells about 50 of a new model of DVD player per month at a price of $140 each. For each $10 decrease in price, avout 5 more DVD players per month are sold. How much should the store charge in order to maximize monthly revenue? What is the maximum monthly revenue?

If you help that would be apreciated thanks(:

The Cask of Amontillado Can someone help me figure this story out by answering my questions. So i can get a better understanding. Please?

Um I barely remember this story from freshman year, but it was to my understanding that Fortunato did not actually injure Montresor, he just insulted him and wounded his pride. The Amontillado, I think, is a wine that Montresor says he has, but he really doesn't; he;s just trying to lure Fortunado done to the catacombs to bury him alive. Well he bricks him alive. No, I do not believe Montresor went insane, it's just that in the past 50 years that have gone by he was not caught for the murder and Fortunato still hangs by chains bricked up in the catacombs.

Are there any tools to help me find a title for my stories?

What types of titles do you like best?  Are there titles from other works you admire?  I'd think about this and try to figure out what other authors are doing, and then try to duplicate it.  To me, the best titles are either poetic or meaningful, or a bit of both.  Things like "To Kill A Mockingbird," "All the Pretty Horses," "The Unbearable Lightness of Being," "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil," just sound nice and strike a particular mood.  If you can pull a nice line from your story, something that sounds nice and is evocative, perhaps try that.Other strong titles are meaningful words that standout and hook you, like "Atonement," or "Roots".Strong name titles can also work, especially if you have a striking main character or place name.  Think "Lolita," "The Great Gatsby" or "The Hobbit." Sound, image, and meaning are what you're striving for.  I'd say you try to mix either sound or image with meaning at least, but what you want most of all is something catchy and memorable.  I don't know of any great resources for this, and I'd really just recommend thinking on titles you like.  (I, for example, am a sucker for the slightly poetic.  I love "The Perks of Being a Wallflower," "The Sun Also Rises," "Her Fearful Symmetry," stuff like that...) But here's a link I found after a casual perusing.  It might help: Choosing the Right Name for Your Story

Can you help me figure out a name for my fictional character?

Do not give your characters arbitrary names just because you think they sound good, or unique. or some such.Research meanings of names — every name means something, first name and surnames all source to an origin, usually describing coming from a place, or a particular job, or some kind of title.When designing your character(s) you will give them all sorts of characteristics. For sake of argument take my first name Walter. The equivalent name would be Victor, Walter means ‘conquering hero’. My last name means ‘son of Peter’.Now research Azura and Aris and find surnames names meaning ‘thorn’ even if it is not obvious at first glance. Karl Jung spoke of the collective unconscious and this suggest that all symbols, and meaning of specific things, is already in the consciousness of all people. This means that you may use the Chinese word for Rose, or Swahili? Our reader’s brains will accept the name and somehow they will come to understand it’s significance. If you fear the reader won’t, then in the story you can make some non-obvious reference through conversation, or coat of arms, etc.As far as I am concerned going after a name just for its unusual qualities may actually be a hindrance to your story. The name you choose for your characters need to be meaningful.

Can someone help me solve this story problem?

The mill rate is the tax per dollar of assessed value of property. The rate is expressed in "mills", where one mill is one-tenth of a cent ($0.001).
Tax = 100,000* 0.019 = $1900
