Can You Help Me With My Art Homework About Cezanne

Help me memorize dates for art history final!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?

If you haven't already been using powerpoint, do it.

Google the paintings/sculptures/architecture you need and then put them into a power point presentation with your information. it's also good to print the powerpoint too and use them as flashcards

For dates: I'm sure everyone has a different method, but I try to associate the number with something in the image. For instance if I were to look at The Night Cafe by Van Gogh, I notice there is a pool table, and i'd associate that with an 8-ball and would remember that it was painted in 1888. Things like that. Also count the number of objects, like in The Basket of Apples by Cezanne, I count that there are 14 apples on the table and 9 + 5 = 14 so I'll remember 1895.

Use those kinds of associations and then just keep going over your powerpoints again and again till they're solid in your memory.

Good Luck

Is it too late to reinvent myself at 58? I retired 5 years ago. I got my master’s from an Ivy League university 2 years ago. I have been having difficulty getting a job.

You have gotten great advice from a number of Quora respondents. It is never too late to activate or re-activate your career. Please don’t make the mistake of prioritizing your degree subject. Prioritize your skills that you may have acquired since getting your degree. If your aim is employment, you must find out what it is that your potential employer needs and demonstrate how you can fulfill that need. If you are in a field that requires updating your knowledge or credentials (health sciences, technology are two areas that require constant re-education) then enroll in courses that will help you. You can also attend graduate school as a “special student.” As a non-degree-seeking student you will pay tuition, but you can enroll in courses that will refresh and update your skills. This is a way of renewing your credentials. You may also think about doing something entirely different from your educational training. Starting your own business, non-profit, service agency is challenging, but many have done it, and given the unfortunate ageist tendencies in employment this may be your best route—being your own boss. There are courses and support groups for people thinking about doing this. At least explore them. The formula for success in any field is simple to say, harder to execute, but it is:FIND A NEED AND FILL IT!Good Luck!
