I'm so scared I'm crying help :(?
I began having panic attacks when I was 14yrs old. I am now 42. Unfortunately it really sounds like what you are suffering from. Now when I was your age I had no idea what was happening to me either, and I didn't know how to explain it to anyone. It felt like my thoughts suddenly became really loud and everything seemed threatening and I would have a terrible feeling that something horrible was going to happen any second. I would cry and rock and have no idea how to help myself. Eventually I went to the library and started doing some reading in the psychology section. You are lucky you have the internet at your fingertips nowdays. Anyway I found out that during most panic attacks it is an abundance of randomly released adrenaline or epinephrine that causes these feeling and obsessive thoughts. The best way to naturally stop a panic attack almost immediately is to exercise. I know this sounds strange, but next time this happens go outside run a lap around your block, or your backyard, wherever you can get to safely. Even if you have to do jumping jacks in your room or run in place, I promise it will help. As soon as you do something very active for a minute or two at the most the anxiety will almost magically subside. It is a great idea in general to exercise everyday if you suffer from anxiety. Often just burning off excess adrenaline/epinephrine will prevent the attacks from happening in the first place. This is a much better solution than getting started on anti anxiety drugs or anti-depressants at your age. If you see a Dr about this they may suggest medicine. Take it into consideration, but please try the natural way first. Please let us know if this works. Please know I am honestly feel bad for you and want to help you. I also believe you can help yourself, just like I did. Just be open minded and don't be afraid to talk to your parents or friends about your feelings. Take care
Can and will the military look at your medical record?
You will fill out DD form 2807-2: http://www.dtic.mil/whs/directives/infom… They will conduct medical test to look for disqualifying conditions. We have neither the time nor manpower to track down every Doc some kid might have seen in 18 years of life. You will be required to sign a release allowing the Govt to look at medical, legal and educational records if required. Failure to allow this stops your enlistment. Which is why we also have laws in place and you sign acknowledgment of the law on the 2807: "WARNING: The information you have given constitutes an official statement. Federal law provides severe penalties (up to 5 years confinement or a $10,000 fine or both), to anyone making a false statement. If you are selected for enlistment, commission, or entrance into a commissioning program based on a false statement, you can be tried by military courts-martial or meet an administrative board for discharge and could receive a less than honorable discharge that would affect your future." That being said...whatever issue you have starts causing problems..especially the first 180 days..they can launch an investigation which will include looking at your civilian medical records and interviewing doctors and recruiters....and could cause you to get an fraudulent enlistment discharge with an OTH as well as recouping all monies paid to you and to train you up to that point. Seen it happen.
Scared about STD testing options, help?
I'm a male and had unprotected sex with a female and haven't had any symptoms, but figure it would still be wise to get tested. However, I'm in college, and scared that a) my parents would find out or b) it will stay on my medical record and reflect poorly on me in the future (whether or not I test positive). I'm aware that some places offer anonymous HIV testing, and know a place where I could go, but it doesn't seem like anonymous STD testing is too common. My question is, what should I do? Where should I begin? Should I just go to Student Health Services? Also, will my parents find out? And will it reflect on me poorly in the future (for insurance, medical plans, employment, etc.)?

Don't worry you won't die. They'll give you some painkillers and numbing injections and if your that scared you could ask if they could give you some sleeping gas before the procedure. There are gonna be a lot of religious hate because in their minds this is murder but technically the baby isn't born to die it isn't born to be a live baby it's still a fetus so to the religious nuts out there calm down she's made her decision. If she's old enough to have sex she's old enough to decide if she wants to keep it
I have mono. but i'm way to scared to tell my parents because i am only 13. what do i do??
How would you know if you had mono? Only a doctor would know for sure by taking a test to find out. Mono can be serious and it NEEDS medical treatment. You should tell your parents! You don't need to tell them you think you have mono, just tell them you feel sick and would like to go to a doctor. And even if you do have mono, so what? You don't need to be ashamed. It's not an std or anything. Yeah they call it the "kissing disease" but their are other ways you can get it too. They reason why its the kissing disease is because it's spread through saliva. You can get it easly by sharing utensils and drinks. There are oter ways you can get it too. So don't worry wait it out a few days and chances are you'll feel better but if are really sick, dont have shame in it, cause your parent arent going to kill you.

don't say anything about it. if you told them you never had it, take that to your grave. trust me, i've been there and done that. you will not get caught. if you get it while your in, just go to the doc and tell them you don't think you've ever had it before. it's not a big deal at all. you are worried for no reason. keep your mouth shut about it. as far as the moment of truth, keep your mouth shut then too. the only people that get up and disclose anything at all in the "moment of truth" are idiots. they can never find out anything you haven't told them. the only way they can would be if you lied about drug use and failed a drug test. that's it. you'll be fine.

I m dying and I m scared, how do I come to terms with my fate?
I don t want to go too far into it--but I m a relatively young person (29) who is in the end stages of liver disease. I have seen every specialist I possibly can, but theres not much they ve been able to do. I m in the end stages. Im expected to last anywhere from another month to possibly three. Its surreal knowing this is my last few months on earth--the last little bit that I can see my friends and family, the last bit of time I ll be able to spend with my fiancee, the girl I love who I was supposed to marry but now will not get that chance. I know this is all fleeting--in a few months I ll be dead and gone and that thought keeps me from sleeping, keeps me depressed. I want to be happy in my few remaining days here, but it seems like its futile. The thought of it all ending any time now keeps me sad. I can t discuss this with my family, I try to put on a happy face around them. I dont want their final memories of me to be a sullen person. I want them to think I was happy to the end. But I m not. I don t know anyone here so it makes this topic a bit better to approach for me. Please help me be able to come to terms with this. I m scared. I m not religious, so I dont believe in heaven or hell, and please dont try to convert me. I m not interested. I just want to know how I can find happiness in my last days here before I pass away. It s the scariest thing I ve ever faced. Being told you re going to die in potentially less than 90 days is almost heart-stopping enough.
Smoking Marijuana While Pregnant - Scared Unborn Will Get Taken Away?
MONROE, La. (AP) — A newborn was hospitalized after doctors discovered marijuana in his system shortly after his birth and Ouachita Parish sheriff’s investigators arrested the mother.Renita D. Simmons, 18, of West Monroe was booked Wednesday on charges of second-degree cruelty to a juvenile. Investigators said a caseworker with Glenwood Regional Medical Center called the Sheriff’s Office on Feb. 4 to report a newborn with marijuana in his system. The caseworker told deputies Simmons gave birth on Feb. 3 and a urine analysis was conducted on the child, according to an incident report. On Wednesday, the teenage mother admitted to investigators that she used marijuana several times during her pregnancy and used the drug approximately two or three weeks before giving birth, the report stated. Simmons also admitted to deputies that she knew the drugs could harm her unborn child. Detectives said that the infant was premature and remained hospitalized as of Thursday.
