Can You Name All The Pens That Are Workable With Intuos 5 Tablets

Do Wacom graphics tablet pens work with Huion tablets?

This is one of the funniest questions I have seen on Quora! No offense to you buddy but you are probably not aware of the technology of the two companies. It is like installing a Windows application on Ubuntu!Firstly, the two use different technologies. Even among Wacom products, you cannot use an intuos pen on a cintiq because it is a really sophisticated technology where even a slight difference makes them incompatible.Secondly, Wacom is quite ahead of Huion in terms of technology, so even if the pen worked on other similar devices, Huion does not have the technology to actually match a Wacom.

Can the Wacom Intuos Pen & Touch Tablet be used with Adobe Illustrator?

Yes, I actually have this very tablet and used it last week (as of writing this obviously).Just download the drivers and adjust pen settings to your liking and set up illustrator to use the pressure sensitivity if you so please.Sometimes if you're unlucky you will have problems with the drivers (commonly the drivers might uninstall themselves) which will hinder the ability to use pressure sensitivity, (I especially noticed this with adobe products). Which CAN be fixed by using the back up tool utility and restoring it when needed.

Can a wacom bamboo fun pen work with any wacom tablet?

no, the pens for the newer tablets (bamboo pen and touch, intuos 4, cintiq) use a comletely different way of interacting with the tablet, so they will deffinately not work.

im quite sure most other pens wont work too, i know for sure intuos2 pens doesnt work with bamboos, because we have both of those tablets at my school, and sometimes i accidentally try to use the wrong pen on the tablets and it doesnt work.

even if graphire pens work (which i highly doubt), their pens will be even harder to find than bamboo ones because the old graphires were discontinuef long before the bamboos were.

are you absolutely certain you cant find pens for your bamboo online though? i just checked wacom australias online store, and they have bamboo fun pens.

Are Wacom Tablet Pens Interchangeable?

That's an interesting question. In theory, yes. that being said, the higher end models seem to have a better "tracking" with the pens that come packaged with them. It's really hard to notice the difference though, since both a capacative styluses.

Will any Wacom pen work with any Wacom tablet?

No. You need a specific stylus for your Wacom tablet. There is _some_ cross functionality among Wacom's products. Such as a Graphire 3 pen will work for any of the Graphire 3 tablets (there are 3 sizes), but won't work on the newer Graphire5 tablets. I have one of each, so this is first hand experience. I would recommend going to ebay or amazon and finding a compatible pen. They usually work across 3 to 4 different tablets, but you have to stay in the same tablet type. So don't get an intuos tablet pen at all since the intuos line is a monitor/tablet!

Will all wacom styluses work on any wacom pen tablet?

Nope they will not work on other pen tablets.

You could check out www.stylusshop.com they only sell styluses and pretty much any stylus they have.

What tablet pens are compatible with Wacom's Graphire4?

Want to sketch? You already have a Window's painting & sketching program; only it is amateurish.

On your computer, go to programs > accessories > Paint, the program you can't really miss.. It is there doubtlessly.

Why not sell a few paintings and then buy yourself a computer/laptop, wacom tablet pen, painting softwares, etc. That is what I did.

I use a laptop with my Wacom Intuos SMALL tablet pen which suits smaller screen of PC or laptop.
For digitally painting out of doors, I bring my laptop and Wacom pen anywhere with me. For comfort, I place my Wacom tablet directly on top of the laptop's keyboard; stumps under tablet are not touching the keys as I have Wacom tablet carefully positioned.
It is a joy to be able to sketch/paint out of door with a laptop. My Wacom Intuos doesn't need to plugged up to a wall. It gets electricity from a laptop.

When you sell artworks, you will gradually get everything you need for your dream studio.

How is the experience using a Wacom tablet?

HI Esther, thanks for the A2A. Using a Wacom tablet for the first time is like trying to brush your teeth with your non-dominant hand! There are 3 things that you will encounter when switching from using a mouse to a tablet. And each can be worked through in a couple of weeks of consistent practice.Eye Hand disconnect. Looking at the screen and not you hand is weird at first. It takes a certain amount of control to tell your hand how far to move in regards to how far the cursor on the screen actually moves. This is also compounded by having a screen to tablet ration other than 1:1. For example, if your tablet is tiny and your screen huge, then a minute hand movement can send the cursor flying across the screen!Pressure sensitivity. Tablets introduce a new concept to the digital artist and that is pressure. If you press harder or softer this can affect your line quality. It can also be configured to change things like opacity, spacing, texture etc. Practice using just simple brushes when getting started. Hard and soft round brushes on 100% flow and opacity set to pressure.Tablet orientation. Make sure you have your tablet aligned correctly with your screen. If your tablet is angled, even slightly, then getting a straight line or gentle curve on the screen will be near impossible. Have your screen at 90 degress to your eyes, and the edge of your tablet parallel with the screen.I hope these points give you some areas to focus on? Good luck and warm regards, Robin.

Which is better, the Wacom Intuos 2018 or the XP-Pen Deco 03? Or are there any other drawing tablets in a similar range worth considering? I'm a beginner, and the tablet will be used for illustrating, photo editing, and maybe other stuff.

From where i see it, it is a question about specs vs reliability…Both wacom intuos and xp-pen deco 3 were launched recently… wacom has basically improved upon their previous models and made the more modernised version of intuos…Whereas xp-pen has fully changed its style… and come up with somwthing new….Deco 3 provides an impressive amount of specs at under 100 dollars along with that dial which is very impressive…Not confusing you anymore and coming straight to the point…Deco 3 is all about cramming in more specs and providing features which are in some case only available in much pricier version… but on the other hand they compromise in quality… and the physical feel and sturdyness of their device is kind of cheap.Wacom is more conservative about their specs but whatever they give is top notch and that is why professionals prefer it more than any other brand. They have been in the business for a long time and they know what yhey are doing… they are slightly overpriced than others but in return you get a solid premium feeling device. Wacom also has reputation to last for a long time with some of them lasting as long as 10 years. (i personally know the example)Final verdict - go with wacom…Here is an article which will help you with comparison[1]Footnotes[1] Cheap Drawing Tablets - Which doesn't Suck - EssentialPicks
